The characters, stories, suspense, etc are fantastic. I love each character and their relationships - especially that they are a family. This is a quality show and we need this quality on television. Please bring it back!!!
Please save Crossing Jordan if it is not too late. I was not even aware it was cancelled because it just sort of dropped off the radar. This is one of the most original shows out there for a procedural. The character studies only add to the mix. This is a show that at least deserves a proper ending if it is to die.
I'm not a fan of Reality TV, and don't enjoy a lot of programs, but Crossing Jordan is one of the few i look forward to seeing. I have NEVER missed an episode and am totally shocked to hear the show is cancelled. BRING IT BACK!!!!!!
Why is NBC cancelling Crossing Jordan? It was one of the best returning shows and deserves renewal. It has a loyal fan base that should not be ignored.
What is wrong with you NBC? Haven't you figured out that we want drama, not more stupid reality shows? I don't watch ANY reality TV. I watch Law and Orders (which I now have to catch CI on USA), Heroes, etc., and have been anxiously awaiting the season premiere of CJ only to finally look it up and see you've cancelled it. I find myself watching a lot more of CBS and ABC these days...get a clue.
This is one of the best shows that you had! Bring it back, give it a good time slot, keep the time slot permanent so that fans can find it and sit back happily as you reap the rewards.
Sigh. Yet another show cancelled too early (remember Third Watch, NBC?). Crossing Jordan was truly a bright light in a line-up that is increasingly knee-deep in mediocrity. Great writing, great music, great acting -- CJ had plenty to offer. Disappointed? Yes. Surprised (by NBC)? No.
Dropping a regular series like Crossing Jordan without giving fans warning (or a decent final episode) will inevitably lead to lower ratings. Reconsider the decision and bring this winner back!
PLEASE DONT CANCEL CROSSING JORDAN, It is the most meaningful show I have ever watched. I have never cared more about characters then I do about every one in Crossing Jordan. It is a great show that has drawn me in and now I am so invested that the thought that there will be no more to the story brings me to tears. Please save Crossing Jordan. Please.
I have been watching crossing jordan for years and found out that the show was cancelled when i read these blogs. this sucks. i was looking forward to the new season and only enjoyed two shows on nbc. this is crap. bring back cj.
CJ was one of few shows we usually watch. NBC has made a mistake with this cancellation. Hopefully, a smarter network (is that an oxymoron?) will pick it up.
It is really sad when a network cancels a smart and interesting show like Crossing Jordan. I am ready to stop watching all shows on NBC just to make a point. I hope this works and Crossing Jordan will be back on the air!
I am a 31 year old teacher - pretty much your demographic. You really don't want to cancel this show because women like me will only be watching ER. That's about the only consistently good show you have left. My demo has resorted to cable shows (quite successfully) and sci-fi even. You seem to have lost sight of your target CONSISTENT audience. Doesn't matter to me - there is lots of competition.
I hope this helps I know the actor playing Woody has another job, but if you think about all those who have left for other jobs haven't done so well. So maybe they should all think twice and stay with a winner. Also not everyone likes that stupid something about winning a million game show.
I always look forward to CJ as a way of winding down Sunday evening. It is rare that a good show is on Sunday evenings, but that was it. I'm sad you decided to cancel it. I would love to see it back on again.
My wife and I love Crossing Jordan. It was one of the few shows that we both could enjoy. We hate these stupid reality shows that they keep wasting air time on. Tired of them canceling my shows and putting on stupids shows. Bring back Crossing Jordan
I loved Crossing Jordan, it was a different show with interesting characters... Why was it canceled? I hope that NBC doesn't keep canceling all the successful shows as they've done in the past: e.g. Surface. I hove Heroes, Medium, the new show Life... Journey man is interesting but a bit boring, trying to cover too much in a short time, I preferred Crossing Jordan.
THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SHOWS OF ALL TIME. NBC CANCELS ALL OF THE SHOWS WORTH WATCHING. JUST LIKE THEY CANCELED AMERICAN DREAMS AND THE BLACK DONNELLYS, NBC GOES AND CANCELS CROSSING JORDAN. BOYCOTT NBC ALTOGETHER.
This is one of the best shows on NBC and it would be a shame for it to be canceled to add another STUPID reality show. Please keep CJ on the air. If NBC cannot afford to keep the show, I think a different station should pick it up where it left off. Guaranteed to bring ratings up.
Way to go NBC. The only show I really watched on your network is gone. It had drama, chemistry, good acting, and oh yea, it wasn't vulgar. The actors could really act and the scripts said something besides who are you going to sleep with this week. Why didn't you ask your viewers what shows they liked?
this show was one of the best shows on tv. I have been a loyal fan of 6 years and fell in love with the show and the cast. I cannot believe it is ending. You guys could have made it run longer if you wanted to. Please pickup Crossing jordan again...listen to your fans for once!
I have watched Crossing Jordan from the beginning. I loved that show. I cant believe it got cancelled. NBC is always cancelling the really good shows and airing stupid shows and reality TV...if I wanted reality, I wouldnt watch TV. For as long as I can remember, I have watched nothing but NBC, but the last couple of years, I have found myself watching other stations because they keep cancelling the shows I like to watch. Stupid TV execs. They cancel great shows and give us crap in it's place. CBS brought back that dumb show Jericho with fan out-cry. Speak up people. Boycott all of NBC's new shows. They are garbage anyway.
It's a shame that the fans were not aware of this before hand. After the cliffhanger season finale, we really want to know what is going to happen. Bring Jordan back, please!
I've watched every episode of CJ. It is so rare to find a good, quality show anymore. I can't believe you could cancel it. That was the last show I would watch on NBC. You lost yet another viewer.
I love Crossing Jordon and also don't want it to end. What are the network executives thinking. You can't find another show to replace it. Not with those chacters. You keep doing this to your vewing audiences taking away shows we love. You are losing a great fan base and also possibly losing a fan of your station. Come on bring Jordon Back!!!!!!!
Crossing Jordan is in my top 5 of favorite shows on television and i watch ALOT of tv I have two tivos and I got one so I was sure not to miss Jordan.
I have been trotting around trying to figure out why Crossing Jordan hadn't started its fall season only to find out this disappointing news. Seriously fantastic show, great cast, good storyline I was always on the edge of my seat for the past six years.
And to replace it with Singing Bee? massive mistake. NBC's ratings are totally going to suffer take this from a serious T.V viewer.

Crossing Jordan is the only show on NBC that I still like. If it is canceled, I will turn to channels that know what kind of shows their consumers like.
This and ER are the only shows I watch on NBC anymore. The rest of the idiotic reality shows are a waste of time and money! What else is there to watch on a Sunday night but Crossing Jordan? You gave up a show that was highly viewed for FOOTBALL?????? That only lasts a few months out of the year!
