I have only been a viewer since 2005. The Tony Danza Show is absolutely the most entertaining and delightful talk show on mass media. Mere words do not do this marvelous entertainer justice. His "Family" quality show is not matched by any other host currently on major television channels. He has warmed our hearts with his charm, humor, elequence, personality, etc. He has shared his lovely family with us in our homes as well as numerous funny guests. Tony Danza is a "Class Act". What a huge loss to television entertainment to cancel this top-rated family entertaining show. I hope Disney will reconsider. What a cultured profesional entertainer with high morals and excellent talent. What a great loss and tragedy to the viewing public.
I WILL MISS THIS SHOW TERRIBLY AS TONY WAS ENTERTAINING , EASY TO RELATE TO AND VERY FUNNY. THE HOUR SHOW WAS ACTUALLY TOO SHORT AS THE TIME ALWAYS FLEW BY. TOO BAD THE SHOW WAS CANCELLED BECAUSE THE PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE DO NOT RECOGNIZE "TALENT AND CLASS"
I HAVE BEEN SURFING THE NET IN SEARCH OF SOMETHING SPECIAL FROM HIS SHOW THAT I MAY PURCHASE AS A SOUVENIR. TONY GOOD LUCK IN YOUR FUTURE ENDEAVORS!
You do something right for the first time in forever by putting someone as grounded and real as Tony Danza in a talk show and then you do what? Cancel it? For Rachel Ray? I love Rachel Ray but she can stay on the food network. Tony needs to be in our homes at this troubled time in a spot on Daytime TV
Tony's show was the BEST daytime talk show there is...wholesome, entertaining, informative, heartwarming - it had it all. ABC Executives and Disney screwed up by eliminating his show.
This is the best takl show on tv, not only entertaining, but informative. Why would you take off such a wonderful & great show? If you have any heart & realize what good, clean televison is you'll leave this show on the air.Dawn Midolo-very upset & confused
I'm from Ireland and we don't get the show over here, but Tony Danza is such a consummate entertainer that it would be unacceptable for the American public to be deprived of his talents. After the wit and charm he portrayed playing roles such as "Tony" in "Taxi", and "Tony" in "Who's the Boss", I can only pray that one day we in Ireland will also be able to start our day with Danza.
If Tony isn't brought back next season, I hope another network has the good sense to pick him up. Tony is one of the most "real" people in the industry, and in a time when reality shows are the "in" thing, we need him. There are four generations of Tony Danza fans in our family, and I know we're not the only ones. Please reconsider, even if it's in a different time slot. Malinda Taylor- Russell
Only Day Time Show I watch - This is a mistake. Tony is genuine and lets the audience know so many things you never hear about on other shows of this genre.
I can't believe the networks keep all the junk shows on tv, like Jerry Springer and Maury Povich who do nothing but broadcast idiots who have no shame, no pride and no class, and tell on national tv all their personal business, which they should be ashamed of... and the networks call that crap entertainment?! Why don't the networks ever listen to the mainstream viewing audiences? The mainstream thinks those shows are crap. It's only the low lifes that get a kick out of those shows, whose minds are in the gutter and whose brains are up their you know what. Tony's show offer us a variety of interesting guests, who aren't just there plugging their books or movies, but who reveal a bit more of themselves because of Tony's probing questions and easy interviewing style. Give us quality television that's entertaining. Give us the Tony Danza show back. And while your at it, get rid of the other two goons, as well the crap court/judge shows where everyone makes of fool of themselves, by letting these judges get rich and famous off of exploiting people that are too stupid to see through the monkey business in show business. Give us something good to watch for once. Bring Tony back.
I do support it & always liked him. He seems to young acting to be 55. I think he is ok but he needs to stop overtalking & interrupting his guests. And also slow down on the family talk. He's proud, fine. But its a little over kill.
Feel I'm losing what little decency and fun is left on TV.
He's upbeat and keeps me happy, I'm a care giver and need some lifting myself.
Thanks for keeping him on.
I was so upset when I tuned in on May 26,2006 and realized it was the last show. I was shocked!! I enjoyed The Tony Danza Show very much and it should have never been canceled.I think he's one of the greatest talk show hosts ever. If the Italian cooking segments offend some people, then maybe "they" shouldn't watch.
Tony has kept me going for the past 6 months I have been watching. I am watching the episode where they are cooking and he keeps referring to his balls....it's hilarious!!
