According to The Pro Wrestling Torch, TNA's booking team still
Roman was an ISA agent, but worked in Salem as a cop. His first assignment was to guard Dr. Marlena Evans, who's apartment had been broken into by the Strangler. Roman slept in her apartment on the floor in a sleeping bag.
In 1982 when Roman noticed that Marlena had been taken hostage at gunpoint by Jake Kosnitchek he barged in to save Marlena. Jake and Roman fought, and when the gun went off Jake was shot and killed.
Roman and Marlena both grieved over the situation, and eventually fell in love. Before Roman could marry Marlena he had to have his wife legally declared dead. Roman believed his wife Anna was killed in a boating accident. Because her body was never found she couldn't be legally declared dead. Roman went to Mickey Horton for help, who told him he would get to work on it.

Thursday, Friday and other misc thoughts
So I was so happy to see Chelsea apologize to Nick for telling him to take the hairbrush for her. Yeah for Chelsea! Unfortunately Nick swiped it out of the trash after she threw it away. Uh Oh! Why oh why do people hang onto incriminating evidence? Throw it in the fire, destroy every bit of DNA! Better yet, destroy all of Chelsea's hair and put Willow's in it! There has to be some of her blond locks around that room of hers at the Y. They will be caught . . . eventually. Even if the truth about Willow does come out, Chelsea and Nick will still wind up in trouble for tampering with evidence. I can already hear Bo and Billie lecturing them now.
So Sami is trying to pull a fast one on EJ. Uh oh! When EJ catches her, and she always gets caught, there will be hell to pay! They are really pushing this NBC promo that says Sami and Lucas WILL get married this May. I also got word from a trustworthy source about "surprising scenes" at Sami's wedding. I can't help but feel Sami will have her wedding and then disaster will strike. Kate is inching ever so closer to the truth about what happened that night. She knows Celeste knows the truth. Will it be her dropping the bomb at the wedding, or perhaps EJ kidnapping Sami? Or could it be EJ's "death?" One thing is for sure, it won't be a Sami wedding without something shocking.

History of Paul Nemer and WrestleView.com
Note: This is not only the History of WrestleView.com. This is a very unique section. This section talks about a variety of things, from how I got to open the site to where it's at today, the reporters that come and go, the wrestling trips with the staff, the jokes, the pranks, and almost everything else that we found humorous or interesting that concerns the site or staff.
? Late 1997 to mid 1998:
Late 1997, I decided to open a wrestling site. The main reason for this was because of my wrestling knowledge. People would say what does that have to do with a wrestling site and news reporting? Well, I'll tell you why. Knowledge is important to me because if a visitor e-mails me a simple wrestling question, I would like to e-mail him/her back with an answer and I liked to play trivia a lot. So I opened a site in late 1997, I only had very few reporters. One of my first reporters was Shaun Plummer who began his reporting on my site.
Monday - Shawn tells Gabby she's welcome to accompany his family to Australia, but she is on her own once they arrive there; Foley and an orderly lock Steve in the common room to teach him a lesson.
Tuesday - Sami has second thoughts about her and Celeste's plan; Chelsea lures Max to Bo and Hope's house.
Wednesday - Sami races to leave the hotel suite without leaving Lucas suspicious; Chelsea agrees to let Abby off the hook; Roman believes Willow stole the hairbrush and Nick jumps to defend her.
Thursday - Lucas passes out from the tainted lipstick; Belle is upset when she thinks Shawn and Gabby are conspiring together.
Friday - EJ searches for evidence that Sami is in cahoots with the police; Kayla tells Stephanie the specifics of Steve's condition; Stephanie tells Abby about her new boyfriend.

[edit] Career
[edit] Early days
David Flair never wanted to become a wrestler. He always wanted to be a State Trooper. He first appeared on camera backstage with his father at StarrCade '93 in WCW. His father was going to have to retire if he lost his match so they had the family appear to give it more emotion.
In late 1998, David was back on WCW TV sitting front row and getting involved in some skirmishes with Eric Bischoff and the nWo. He eventually decided to become a wrestler and teamed with his father in his debut match at WCW/nWo Souled Out in Charleston, West Virginia on January 17, 1999. They wrestled Curt Hennig and Barry Windham and won the match. After the match, the entire nWo came out and Hulk Hogan lashed David with his belt until David's back was full of welts.
[edit] Heel turn
On February 21, 1999 at WCW's SuperBrawl, David turned on his father and joined the nWo WolfPac. He had Torrie Wilson by his side and used a taser on his father to help Hogan win their WCW World Title Match. He did not wrestle for a while but did appear in vignettes with Torrie while he was training at the WCW Power Plant.
As iMPACT! begins, we learn that Tomko will face Rhino in an “8 Mile Street Fight”. Yet, before the match we go backstage where everyone from Team Cage is asking about their NWA Title shot that Christian Cage promised each of them. Cage shrugged it off and told Tomko to get ready for his match. The “War Machine” Rhino came down to the ring, but quickly ran backstage to bring the fight to Tomko before he could even walk through the tunnel. The two powerhouses brawled through the backstage area and into the crowd; using every barricade and wall in the way. They eventually made it into the ring and Rhino started to gain the advantage. At that point Abyss came to the ring to hit Rhino with a steel chair, only to miss and hit Tomko. Rhino then tossed Abyss out of the ring and gave Tomko a Gore to get the pinfall. After the match both Team Cage and Team Angle came out to help their teammates, but it was Team Cage who dominated with their 5 on 3 advantage.
In Jim Cornette’s office, a few wrestlers were trying to find out what their role is going to be at Lockdown, but in a incoherent fashion. Jim told them all to shut up and that everyone will know where they stand concerning Lockdown at the Town Hall Meeting at the end of the show. He said for all them to get out and for no one to bother him the rest of the night. Just at that moment, Gail Kim ran in and attacked Jackie Moore. Chris Sabin seemed to enjoy the fight as he cheered on, but security quickly got control of the situation.
Backstage, Team Cage was celebrating their domination of Team Angle earlier in the night; with Cage even stating “We’ve already beat them at Lethal Lockdown.” Cage says their all going to a party, but Abyss must stay behind because he almost cost Tomko the match. Jim Mitchell said if Abyss didn’t stay, then he would have to call “Mother Abyss”. The Monster then went berserk and destroyed the locker-room.

Roman also was involved in a high profile drug case, of which Alex Marshall was the head drug runner.
Later that year Roman and Anna divorced, but soon after Roman was brought up on charges that he was accepting bribes. Roman knew he was framed, as did the ISA, but he was suspended from the police department. When Roman learned that Stefano DiMera had used Anna and Carrie against him he vowed to get revenge.
