Well, it's sad to say but after watching for about 15 years now today was the last episode I watched of amc... I cant believe that you guys would bring her back, have a date set up for Tad and her and then decide that you will kill her anyways, WHAT ARE YOUR WRITERS THINKING!!! Of all the soaps out there I only watched amc and now, I watch none... thanks for nothing....

I have been watching AMC since 6 years old. I am 31 and will no longer watch this show. I am disgusted with the execs choices especially during this delicate time in the world when we rely on our favorite shows to escape from our stresses. Tad and Dixie was that true love story that gave us hope. This decision was not only unfair to the fans that have invested years into this show and the characters that are part of its foundation but it was socially irresponsible. You really blew it this time and have lost this fan for good.
I had been watching AMC nearly all my life between my mother and gradmother. I remember when Erica and Jeff were together so many years ago. I left for those few years when Dixie was killed off. I was so angry I didn't watch. Then Dixie came back and then there was hope for her and Tad to be happy again! You had won me back when Dixie came back to town. I have watched everyday. She and Tad were going on a date she had gotten her job at the hospital again. Now you go and KILL HER OFF AGAIN. You know its sad to say but you have lost me again. This was my story line ... Tad and Dixie, and you killed it again. I agree withso many of the comments left here on these petitions. There is one person that I whole heartedly agree with that is "PEOPLE OVER THE AGE OF 20 WATCH THIS SHOW AND HAVE FOR 20 YEARS" I think the writers to look and see what their fans are saying!!!! BRING DIXIE BACK!

I couldn't believe my eyes when Joe walked and said we lost her. My chin almost hit the floor, "ARE THEY CRAZY" they just put the spark back in AMC by bringing Dixie back, I had stopped watching for a while but when I hear that Dixie was coming back, I started watching again.Please bring her back I want to feel the excitement and that you do when Tad and Dixie are together, if they don't bring her back I might as well be watching the News. I feel cheated. I was thrilled when Cady rejoined the show and looked forward to a reunion with Tad. Now the show has returned to the Kendall & Erica hour. I have no desire to watch two totally self-absorbed selfish brats. Dixie has always been a funny, realistic, charming, interesting and beautiful soul. I was glad the writers exposed her darker side and then it's like they got bored. Now I'm bored. Zarf is the most interesting character now. WAKE UP WRITERS!!! People over 20 watch this show and have for 20 years!

You writers want to cut back on budgets, lets start with the actors who can't act. Colby needs to leave and take acting lessons. Zoe/Zarf story line is totally ridiculous, who ever thought of a transgender storyline is a pathetic writer. Di can go she was never a character before on AMC we son't need her now. My family has watched All My Children since day one. I personally started watching in the 80's. I stopped watching after Dixie left the last time and I returned to the show when Dixie returned. Now you are taking the heart out of the show for good? What are you thinking? How can this be good for the show? My family (as many others) have been cheering on a full reunion between Dixie and Tad. We couldn't wait to see the next episode, hoping they would get together and find Kate. Now our hopes are smashed. Maybe you are trying to run off longtime loyal fans of the show. If that is your goal, then job well done! We're all sick to our stomachs over this horribly misguided attempt to boost ratings! We want Cady back!!!
AMC has managed to give a "slap in the face" to it's longtime fans by slowing ridding itself of the majority of the older characters. Where is Brooke? or Palmer? (case in point) and ask yourself... is it really pulling in more viewers to go with the younger set of actors?? the ditzy little blondes?? This disrespect of the actors who have given a great amount of time and energy to this show is why I am choosing to no longer waste my time watching. When ABC decides to finally listen to the viewers and treat us with some dignity - maybe, just maybe, I will try to find my way back. Viewers need to let ABC know that they will be boycotting ALL of the ABC shows - daytime and evening until some sort of viewer recognition and respect returns!

how can you be so cruel as to write dixie out of the story? Her and Tad have always had a warm spot in everybodies heart. this has made me and everyone eles that watches this show empty. I know that it is all made up, but when you have watched a program as long as some of us have, it becomes a part of you some how. This has made me not want to watch this show anymore. I began watching AMC in 1983, around the arrival of David Canary and Cady McClain. I have watched it faithfully for the past 24 years, and they have easily been 2 of my absolute favorite characters. I need to warn TPTB at AMC, I also began watching OLTL in the early 90's and was a faithful viewer UNTIL Roger Howarth (Todd) left the show for ATWT. I followed him there and have been watching the show for several years now. Here's hoping Cady McClain returns to ATWT. Maybe they can lure David Canary as well and I won't bother w/ ABC soaps at all! ABC's loss is fast-becoming CBS' gain!
ENOUGH! I have watched All My Kids since Phil & Tara. I've seen it at it's best and worst but this is the straw that broke this fans back. Why doesn't ABC understand who the fans love and want to see? They rid the show of all beloved, adult characters and bring in twitty, boring identical blondes etc. YAWN. If there is no one left on the show I care about then why watch? And the stupidity to kill off the character is beyond absurd. Why shut the door. I feel they don't care what fans want and that is sad. After all these years I think this is what will make me tune out for good. It's just no fun anymore :(

For 20 years I have been a constant fan of the show and am devastated to see that the writeers so blatantly ignore their true fans by killing off Dixie. We have waited over a year to see Dixie get back to the honest, kind woman and mother she is...and see her reunited with Tad and Kate once and for all! Show your fans the respect they deserve. Get rid of Di, Amanda, Babe, Krystal...anyone but beloved Dixie. Either bring her back or watch your ratings tank even more.

Believe it or not, there are some faithful views who have watched this show for YEARS AND YEARS, and there are those of use who still like to see good love story lines continue! First you killed off Edmund Grey after bringing back Maria for a short while, you are trying to write Jack and Erica's love story apart, and NOW DIXIE & TAD??!?!? What on earth are you people thinking?!? I know it may be hard to believe, but there are some of us loyal fans who could care less about all this transgender/lesbian story line in the show! Ive watched since 1974, if I was at work I watched it on Soap net. I can't believe that AMC has done this. Im very upset. Only soaps can bring back the dead, I think the writers should get very creative and do something before AMC looses it's fan base.

It has been this storyline that has had me the most excited about watching AMC. After today, I'm done watching. I have been a faithfull viewer since 1970, and I can't beleive all the dumb changes you people have made in this soap. Cady is an excellent actress and to kill her off when she just returned, are you people on drugs or what??? You people keep down grating this story and soon it will be off the air, thanks to your writer. That is ashame!!! I've had it. Kick Babe and Krystal to the curb, not Dixie. I could care less about Babe and Krystal. Killing Dixie without reuniting her with little Kate was cruel and heartless. I have been watching AMC for over 35 years and I am sick at the decisions being made to the cast of one of my most favorite shows. I never thought I would not have an interest in watching. Bringing back Dixie was a sheer delight and she is fabulous. WOW - what an actress! What a GREAT character! What a huge loss and mistake for AMC, as have been several decisions as of late. I can find a lot of other shows to entertain me.
