Killing off Dixie was one of the worst decisions these writers have ever made. The whole country was expection a Tad & Dixie reunion (again) and will settle for nothing less! Now go and make a miracle & bring Dixie (Cady) back!

I have watched All My Children since I was a very small girl. I kept up through high school, and all the years since. I am a Cady fan and was so glad to see her brought back. I wanted Cady and Tad to finally get back together and what a time for them to do that now. They could have found their daughter and all three lived happily ever after, but no ABC writers want to hack the show even more. I have gotten so tired of the Ryan, Kendall and Zach story that if I turn on the soap and that is all they are showing, I turn the soap off. Please let Cady stay and make a decent story line for her and Tad again. Tad is lonely and will forever love Dixie and they need to be together again. Please let Dixie live. We love Cady and I know that all the friends that watch AMC now will stop because you are getting rid of the best actresses and actors one by one. Soon there will be no story line left that will make it a must to watch AMC. ABC you're killing off the BEST of the show. Please let Dixie and Tad get back together!

I have watched AMC since I was an early teen. My friend made me watch my first episode, but Cady's performance as Dixie, and the chemistry she shares with Knight as Tad & Dixie was what made me continue to watch. I have been a loyal fan since it came on the air(quite a long time}. I have gone thru many story lines but the last few months the writing have been just dreadful. The firing of Julia Barr & now Cady Mclain shows the viewers just how little they value us and their actors. If nighttime soaps like Dallas can bring back Bobby Ewing so can a long time fan favorite like AMC. A "dream" is what's needed to bring this all back to where is should be. That is a WELL Witten program that we all can continue to enjoy.

I have watched AMC since the 1970's. Dixie & Tadd as a couple compare to Luke & Laura on GH. The fans wants Dixie back. there are many characters on the show that could have been written off with no problem. This is a big mistake. This show is based around family. Ratings would have gone through the roof with Tad , Dixie and their daughter reunited.

Getting rid of Dixie was a HUGE mistake. If ABC wanted to shake things up, why not get rid of some of the really useless characters - Di, Del, Julia, Krystal, even Jeff has been a disappointment so far. I was so hoping Tad and Dixie would be the new Joe & Ruth, the "older" couple who stays married and is always there. I won't stop watching AMC at this point but the show has really lost it's way.
