I've been watching AMC for 37 years and Tad and Dixie are my all time favorite characters and couple. I am truly offended that AMC has written Dixie off the show. Her chemistry with Tad is amazing, and to tear them apart at this time in their lives is cruel. There is sadness in Tad's eyes that will never go away. Please make this a set up to catch the killer. Otherwise, you will surely earn the wrath of your longtime fans. If you don't, I certainly won't be one of your fans any longer.

this is crap. tad and dixie was one of amc's few supercouples left on the show. it is wrong that i was mislead and so were many of the fans who thought we were getting a tad and dixie reunion finally and then they go and do this.i plan to boycott all my children until cady's return otherwise they have lost yet another fan. and i dont care.
i can NOT BELIEVE that all my children killed dixie (again). fans have waited so long to see her and tad reunite. this was a huge mistake and the show will seriously regret firing an amazing actress and depriving fans of what they have waited for so long. this show is so screwed.and i am not watching anymore.
I have been watching AMC for 37 yrs now. The love story between Tad and Dixie has been your best line to date. I am completely appaulled by the fact that you "Fired Her" Nobody was tired of their story. I cried like a baby when she died and want her back.
On Cadys website it says to keep watching the show. No way in hell. My daughter and I are now shutting off the tv. I dont have time for a careless bunch of writers for the fans!

amc is crazy. they had such a great story line with dixie, tad and kate. i swear they are trying to loose viewers!...I've been watching for 30 year and I am seriously thinking of not watching anymore!!!
I've been watching the show since 1970 something. I even did my best to keep up with it while I was in college and we had no VCRs! At this point, I won't be watching for much longer. It's becoming more and more difficult to do so. Maybe AMC needs to get rid of some writers or producers instead.
A friend and I have been watching this program since it began. We have reached the point where we will no longer. Part of the draw of a soap opera is that the loyal fans feel as if these characters are in their living room and their life. The writers have lost the essence of what keeps viewers. I stopped watching General Hospital and One Life to Live because of poor writing and now you have lost this viewer too.
WHY? Why would you let Dixie go? The storylines could be endless. If you don't get her back I hope the Y&R picks her up. I have been an AMC watcher for 30+ years and two weeks ago I started watching the Y&R, because it now has three former AMC veterans. AMC is the only soap I have ever followed but I may be changing soaps. TPTB you need to BEWARE before you lose more fans.

Bring Dixie (Cady) back. If you need to cut out some actors, let Colby, Sydny, Sean and Zarf(Zoe) go. I have watched AMC since early 70's and I can't believe how frustrated I am right now with the writing and lack of talent that is on this show. This used to be my favorite show, in fact when I was only able to watch one show I stopped watching OLTL and GH. I have since go back to GH, but I am just about to ready to stop watching AMC and only watch GH. Do something to fix the issues or I won't be the only one leaving.
No matter how many times they broke up, we always watched to see them get back together. This time it was going to be even that much better to have them find the daughter Dixie always wanted to give Tad. What happened to the ABC theme of "Love in the Afternoon". We don't watch for the revenge in the afternoon.
Big Mistake - Huge! Rethink this decision and plead for Caty's return! She has more acting ability than any five of your new "stars" (loosley identified term). She is back by mid March or I am gone permanetly. Do you think your rating of 2.4 is improving with your latest cast and story lines? Think again. It isn't. We need the romance, like tad dixie, not stories about transgendered Misfits, lesbians and psychological impaired teenagers. Who knows - is Erica next?

why are all the actors being killed off? you just got cady back then to kill her off so quickly is terrible. i've been watching this show since the beginning so that been a least 35 years. if i can't be at home watching i tape to later that nite. so lets starts giving us long time fans what we want and thats not killing all the good characters off.
The writers have made another mistake in letting Dixie go. Where is the romance? They need new writers. Maybe they should come out and apologize to the audience and start with a different storyline.

I have watched AMC since 1970 - that is a long time. I have never been as frustrated as I am right now. Letting David and Brooke go (after no story lines for some time) was bad enough but killing Dixie is the last straw. I don't think I can watch any more!!!!
It was poor writing to take her off so soon after bringing her back, Tad needs her to be a family with their daughter. The whole reason for her leaving is selfish on the writers/producers part and they are hurting the show...enough with dissing the veterans. Let Babe be the one gone, she has no real roots there.

How could you just kill off Dixie again. It was great to see her back with JR and Tad. Taking Dixie away again broke the hearts of a lot of people. It is totally unfair, we were promised in SOAP mag that there would be some new years or xmas miricle wih Dixie, Tad, and Kate, showing Tad and Dixie on the Cover TOGETHER looking all lovey and then you take her from us again!?? She needs to be on the show, or people WILL STOP WATCHING. I can promise AMC that they will lose a lot of people out of this. If it is true, that Dixie or Babe is alive, kill Babe off since she is leaving with her hubby but keep Dixie in Pine Valley. Or better yet keep them both, don't KILL kill either and save yourselves some viewers. This satin slayer took so many good characters away such as ERIN for goodness sake! Why punish the viewers further with another compassionate and woman dying. Who will you have left who is kind and caring after this? AND BESIDES WE WAITED SO LONG FOR HER RETURN!!!!!

I have been watching AMC for a number of years and am very disappointed with the way they are going with story line. I hate that you are letting so many of the older ones go. Tad & Dixie have always been so good together, you bring her back and then BAM she is gone again.
Killing off Dixie in this way is a total slap in the face to the viewers of AMC. I know the network doesn't give a damn, but we do. Please do what's right and bring her character back. i "had" worked full time for years and left the soap world. had a tough time getting back in to it until Dixie came back. she brought me back you bring her back!!!
I read an an article in Soap Opera Digest about their opinion of AMC firing Dixie & I agree with them, its a huge mistake on the AMC writers part. And AMC will lose a lot of fans.
I am so sadden of the lost of Dixie on AMC.
Watching for years, have watched, Dixie and Tad grow up and love each other more then life.

My GF is not happy about you getting rid of Dixie. She's been watching since she was a little kid & trust me when I say if you dont bring Dixie back, my GF will be done with the show alltogether. She's also spreading the word to everyone she knows. So, think carefully before you make such an abrupt decision that upsets the longtime fans.
