I have been watching A.M.C. since the beginning and just loved the Tad/Dixie love story. When Dixie died in the car accident, I was mortified but lived with it and saw Tad suffer through it. When the decided to bring Dixie back, it was a great day for A.M.C. and their viewers. AND WHAT DO THEY DO WITH HER???? Kill her again. What it wrong with the writers? Don't they know that Tad & Dixie are the favorites. I'm sure they have lost plenty of viewers because of this. BRING BACK DIXIE
I am so dissapointed with A.M.C. come on Brooke and Dixie are off the show. The two most talented actress you have on tv.And to make matters worse Brooke is never mentioned.Hello did you forget about her after all these years.I think it is shameful. Like her family does not mention her name. I am very dissapointed with the writting on the show. You need to bring back these two fine actresses. I dont know if they would come back ,but they deserve respect!
I have watched AMC for many years. I have never been so disappointed in the writer's or TPTB. The firing of Cady was a major slap in the face to her loyal fans. We were cheated out of a Tad/Dixie/Kate reunion. Instead we are having Zarf/Zoe, Josh/JR/Babe and Erica/Jeff shoved down our throats daily. I have lost respect for the soap that I once loved. I guess it's never to late to get caught up with what's going on over at DOOL. So, way to go ABC and AMC. You have allowed NBC and CBS to gain a few more fans.
I've watched All My Children since 1972 and am disgusted with the way some actors and their characters are being treated. It was an outrage the way Julia Barr was just dismissed as both a person and a character and the firing of Cady McClain is really the last straw. Perhaps I should drop you the way you've dropped them!

So dishearting to have a beloved charachter like Dixie back, just to be killed - I've watched this show for about 20 yrs. and this is the first senseless move they have made. Crazy!!! Still time to bring her back by doing what they are doing with Babe.

Why kill Dixie and not let the best couple on daytime reunite with their daughter. there has been a lot invested in this couple. Dixie cameback but without finally being with Tad. What a moment for the fans. I am becoming convined that AMC is being driven by the dollar and not out to please the fans. I have one couple that I adore and if they are gone so am I. Zack and Kendall are the only good ones to watch anymore. You messed up big time by taken out Dixie and in such a poor way. Risking her life to bring Kate home would have been one way if you had to get rid of her. Quit dumping all our beloved characters and forget these kids that are taking over.

I have been watching this show from the first day it came on. I can not believe that you killed Dixie off. Get rid of some of the newer actors that add nothing to the show. Why would you save Babe if you can't save Dixie? That's not right. Dixie has been around for a whole lot longer and loved by so many more viewers than Babe. Do the right thing and do what your fans want and bring Dixie back. If you refuse to do that, then kill Babe off, because that's a real slap in the face if you save her and not Dixie.

ABC has shown a great deal of disrespect for the actor, the fans and for the history and soul of the show. Get back to what made AMC great--ethical story telling, honor for the past and compelling stories with fan favorites. Cady is a gem, as is Julia Barr. I stopped watching for a long time when they killed Dixie before. The only reason I started watching again was because she was coming back. Then the hole Di was supposed to be Dixie - I almost stopped watching again until I heard the REAL Dixie was coming back and now ... Quess its time to stop watching. Her and Tad maybe reuniting and finding their daughter was the only story line worth watching. I'll give it another week to see if she was saved like Babe and if not Bye Bye AMC you lost me.

ABC will not listen to us, maybe they will listen to their advertisers. In the past shows like Trading Spaces were reformatted because they advertisers took heat for supporting bad choices of the producers. Home Depot came down on the side of the viewers and some producers and writers heads rolled. Lets write the sponsors and tell them how we feel!

I have watched Tad and Dixie from the very beginning of their relationship all those years ago. Dixie and Tad are my favorite couple. If AMC does not bring Dixie back, it will be such a waste and a slap in the face to all the viewers who have supported AMC over the years. If this storyline is not reversed and Dixie brought back to life (like Babe), I will not watch AMC again. AMC it is your choice, but don't forget if you don't have viewers, there will be no AMC period.

I am very disappointed in the AMC writers. Julia Barr and Cady Mcclain should still be there. I was disappointed that the others were let go, but they haven't been there long. We have grown up with Dixie and Brook and they have grown up with us. With Erica acting like she usually does, there is a storyline there for Brook, too, but I don't understand why these writers don't see it. Maybe they can have Dixie in the room with Babe, recuperating and bring Brook back from vacation. There are a lot of ways to get them back in there, after all, look how many "dead" people are walking around Pine Valley. I ask you "PLEASE" with all these other people that have signed this petition, to please bring back these two actresses, at least.If something isn't done in this matter, I am going to quit watching AMC. Letting Julia Barr go after 30 years was bad enough. We waited 4 long years for her return just to have it end this way?!!! OK, ABC & AMC, and whoever else is responsible, letting Cady McClain go was a big mistake. Story lines, not just hers, will suffer. Any "business", even show business that makes an unpopular decision sometimes just has to re-evaluate and fix it. Get her back. Make up whatever storyline you have to (the Babe thing is working), but get her back. Fans will forgive a weak storyline way more than their favorite actor gone. Otherwise you'll lose a lot a fans. I can't believe Dixie is gone. I stop watching amc when Maria left. Now I started watching amc again because Dixie came back. They are my two favorite actresses. Now Dixie is gone. You did it this time. you lost alot of viewers. keep it up and you will lose alot of viewers.
