AMC!!!! Are you kidding me?? You may have killed off Dixie, David, Simone, Brook Oh that's right she's not killed, she's just gone??????? did ya think we wouldn't notice??? I think what AMC needs to do is bring back the people we love and "kill off the writers, producers, and any of the other dumb asses who created this idea. Oh one other person you you killed off???? Please bring back Dixie!!!!! Tad and Dixie are the best couple. I have been watching since the beginning and I even taped it when I started working, so I wouldn't miss anything. I am definately a loyal fan and am sad to say that I no longer watch AMC because of the death of Dixie. I hope that the writers and producers are rethinking their decision of getting rid of Cady McClain, and Julia Barr. This is THE BIGGEST MISTAKE YOU HAVE DONE TO THE SHOW.

I think it unfair the way all my children are treating the well loved veterans. You may write the scripts but we watch them and we love them. I see the way you are going with all younger people and gay couples. You are losing a fan who has watched for over 28 years.

I've been watching AMC since the beginning. I was upset when you killed Donna's baby, and I thought I'd die when you killed Jennie, but this is RIDICULOUS!!! I keep waiting for someone to wake up and all this satin killer stuff just be a dream and Dixie not be dead. If she is gone for real, I may just stop watching AMC
What a poor choice to kill off Dixie. I've watched AMC since Bobby Martin went up to the attic to get his skis and never came downstairs again! But the reunion of Tad and Dixie was eagerly anticipated for so long, only to be so disappointed by the writers. I have been loyal to AMC, but now feel betrayed. If I want to watch so much death, I'll just watch the daily news. AMC has lost another fan.
Please bring Dixie back to All My Children. She and Tad should have a chance at happiness with their daughter Kate and to live happily ever after. They are the Luke and Laura of the show. We want her back asap.She is a great actress and deserves to be recognized as the wonderful person that she is. I love Tad and Dixie together and JR should have his Mom, and Littel A needs his grandmother .
Please remember you once had loyal fans, you do not anymore! Especially since you agree to the stupidity of firing Ms. McClain and ruining the Tad/Dixie storyline before its logical conclusion.

This past year has been a disaster in terms of writing and story-lines. Instead of fixing the problem, you get rid of someone who (with Tad) could have boosted your ratings through the roof.
Dixie is the heart of AMC and she and Tad are the ultimate couple. Please bring her back so they have their happily ever after with Kate!!! Cady is an awesome actress and AMC is where she belongs!!
I think it is a terrible move of the "All My Children" writers to have eliminated Dixie from the cast. She is the reason I have watched this program for over 20 years. I will not be interested in tuning in to the program in the future.
The truth is AMC's "Powers that be" did not fire Cady because the writers could not come up with any storylines...what a crock, they are soap writers, they can write anything and we the soap public will eat it up as long as our favorite/vintage/classic soap characters are there for us everyday. The truth is they fired Cady becaues she spoke up. She was honest about how she felt about some of the writing going on. She spoke up about how they wrote Tad burried a man and tortured him and then a priest just forgives him. She spoke up and told the producers she thought that was WRONG. The almighty EGOS on staff at AMC couldn't handle Cady speaking up so they fired her! That is why I don't watch anymore. Sorry to say. Because I was enjoying the new storyline with Zarf/Zoey. But not enough to put up with the BS of AMC producers and writers!
Why can't the All My Children writers fake Dixie's death as they did Babe? Now that the writers must know how heartbroken the viewers are, surely the can fix their error and the audience would probably be more than willing to forget the mistake just to have our Dixie back. The show has insulted our intelligence and our long standing faithfulness to the show and the Tad and Dixie "Together Forever". I started watching AMC in 1983 when I had my first child. The best part of the show has been Dixie and Tad, Brooke, Adam, Erica, Bianca, Kendall, Palmer, opal, Myrtle, Edmund, Dimitri, Jack, Reggie, just to mention the ones I adore. Del, Barbara Montgomery, Zarf/Zoey, Jeff, and the new younger crowd I don't think we could care too much about, not invested in them and do not care to be. Please bring Dixie back to be reunited with Tad and Kate, no matter how you do it!
I'm very disappointed with the writer's decisions concerning both the characters of Dixie and Brook. As long time supporter of the show, I've seriously considered stopping viewing the show due to these actions of the writers. Bring them both back!

I too have been a devoted amc viewer since the 70's. I first started watching with my mom when I was home from school with the flu. Tad and Dixie are the best couple AMC has ever had, killing Dixie off is a huge mistake! Not to mention that fact that Pine Valley now seems populated with a bunch of 20 somethings. I've become so bored with the show, I keep hanging in there hoping that it will improve, then AMC starts getting rid of veteran cast members left and right. So, what's the message? If you're over 30 you're boring? Shame on you AMC!

Just what was ABC thinking in allowing Dixie to be written off the show?!! The writers cheated the fans out of the long-awaited & much anticipated reunion with not only Tad & Dixie, but also, with their daughter. The flashback scenes shown on the day Dixie died was a glaring reminder of what the show no longer is...no more storytelling of the characters we love...just ridiculous stories of a transgender rock star, a wishy-washy woman who can't make up her mind between her husband and the "unaborted son" of Erika Kane (another idiotic plot!), and of course all too many "baby" stories...Annie & Ryan's baby, Krystal's unborn baby, yada, yada, yada! Instead of firing all of the beloved veterans on the show maybe ABC should think about firing their writing staff. Then and only then, can there be any hope that AMC will once again be the premier show it once was. Needless to say, I am a fan no longer!!!

I believe that the writters have lost track of what this show used to be, w/families. Now it's all about stupid plots of no connection to the title AMC. We need to do something very fast if you writers want the shw to con't, cause it's lossing views at a fast clip. It was great to have T&D start coming together again. Please allow Cady to still be alive,because if not I am one of the viewers that will nolonger watch this show. I've watched since I was 10 years old and I'm 35 now but this will be the last straw for me.
They "killed" Babe but she wasn't really dead. And they killed Bobby on Dallas and it was all a dream. You can't kill Dixie. She was given a drug to make her appear dead something like they gave Juliet. Then Dr. David kidnapped a "dead" Dixie but Tad realizes Dixie is not in her grave much like Alexander Cambias Sr. wasn't in his grave. But where does David have her hidden? How do you explain Dixie seeing Kathy aka Kate before going into the light? She was in a trance and we never saw her go into the light. We just saw her floating around. We've seen that so many times before on soaps. Dixie is still alive and will be coming back. AMC knows you can't kill part of a supercouple like Tad and Dixie. If they do, then AMC is not really worth watching anymore. I tolerated the bad acting that is Kendall but why would I want to keep watching her now? There's so much missing especially now that Dixie is not on the show.
They couldn't have messed up the show any worse, and no one can sanely say differently. Bring back Dixie, reunite her with Kate and Tad, and give THEM a mystery to solve!
Killing off Dixe was a huge slap in the face not only to Cady but to the viewers like myself who have watched AMC from day one. Tads chance to finally be happy with Dixie and thier child was ripped away and left us feeling empty and cheated. What exactly were you thinking?? If you can find a way to resurect someone like Alex Cambias and his 'history'...give us back Cady/Dixie. SOON!
I have been watching this show for 9 and I am only 18. I am disgusted with the fact that AMC has killed Dixie, and the way in which they killed Dixie- poisoned pancakes! Why not do for Dixie what they did for Babe? We would all rather watch Dixie, Tad, and Kate than Bianca with Zoe.
I cannot wrap my mind around the fact that AMC has killed Dixie in order to pursue other lesser stories. I have been watching this show for 33 years and am done with it.
I wish that for once amc will not hear just themself's bring dixie back so that she and tad can find their little girl get back together and for once in a soap allow them to be happy bring her back as fast as you can please

We have waited sooo long to see Tad & Dixie reunited, then when it was about to happen & they were gonna find Kate, AMC killed Dixie off? That is sooo mean to do to Cady & the longtime loyal fans. How cruel!

Please bring Dixie back! After waiting for four years for Dixie to be reunited with Tad and and their daughter Kate, you reintroduced the new revised Dixie,

relation to her former self. However, we the viewers stuck in
there and kept hoping for an eventual family reunion. Instead the powers that be, yanked the rug
rug from under our feet, and left us
us without our much
longed for happy ending. Don't you think that it is time to reward all the loyal fans, who have been watching AMC since the days when Erica Kane was still in high school, with a story line that we truly enjoy. Stop focusing your story lines on so many young characters, who no one knows or cares about, and get back to the core families, who made AMC the great soap opera it once was! Also please rethink your termination of Julia Barr's contract. We grew up with the fine character of Brooke English, and she was our last link to Phoebe Wallingford. How in heaven's name could you treat Ms. Barr in such a callous manner. Shame on you!
