History matters. Long time fans still watch the show for characters like Tad and Dixie. I was so excited you guys brought Dixie back! Contrived as it seemed to some, didn't matter as long as we have satisfying storylines. I sure could write stories for Dixie's character! Why can't your writers? You have one chance to bring Dixie back now that the stupid Satin Slayer has been caught. You have to do it right now, so it makes sense. The only reason I'm still watching AMC after 35 years is I'm waiting to see if you can undo the damage you've done and bring Dixie back. Why are you wasting our time with such ridiculous characters such as Barbara Montgomery. Tad and Dixie belong together and need to find their daughter, Kate, together. Don't miss this chance to bring her back immediately. If you don't, you're going to lose many many more fans. It's up to you.

Bring Cady back as Dixie, you have the means to do the same thing for her character as Babe's. I've watched AMC since the first episode and it has always been the Tad and Dixie story that's kept me hooked. Cady is far too talented to just write off like that and so many women identify with her, unlike other characters on the show. If AMC really cares about their fans, then start realizing it is the 36 to 60 year old fan base that matters most, not the 20 year olds that you are currently catering to.

As a long time viewer of AMC since the early 1980s, I am MAD that they fired Cady. Her character has history stretching over 18 years! As an aspiring writer of short stories, I find it strange that Megan McTavish told her that was no stories for Tad and Dixie -- I find that very hard to believe! I CAN find several storylines to LAST 25 years for Tad and Dixie to do!
Megan McTavish is out, so that is definitely a move in the right direction. Keep letting the powers that be know we will not be satisfied until Cady is back!!!

It is exceptionally cruel to bring back such a popular character only to kill her off in a matter of months. Frankly, I wasn't too thrilled about the other woman-killings either. Simone Torres was a very comical and tragically under-utilized character and I miss her. Erin, with the babydoll tops and lack of clue in forsaking Aidan, not so much. In any case, Dixie, Cady, you got a raw deal and so did us fans.
I am very disappointed that AMC could not follow throught in the Dixie/Tad/ Kate story line that so many of us long time viewers were looking forward to. I fee as if I have lost an old friend and am finding it difficult to warm up to some of the new characters. This is very unfortunate as I suspect it will result is the loss of a lot of loyal views.
Please bring Cady back to the show as Dixie. The show will never be the same without her. I think that after 18 years of waiting for a happy Tad and Dixie with their child that the powers that be owe us that!

I have been watching AMC for decades and Dixie has always been a special favorite. I was thrilled that she was finally back and getting another chance with Tad and Kate. I am so disappointed and angry at your decision to let Cady go. What a horrific mistake. I watch every day hoping that she'll show up out of no-where not dead at all...like Babe...it could still happen --- fix this for all of these long time fans!

Been with AMC since day one. Scheduled ALL of my classes in college around AMC for 4 years. If she goes for good, so do I. I stayed when you changed the way the soap is shot, but I've waited too too long for Tad and Dixie. Way too long!

What's up with this soap? I've been a loyal fan for 40+ years and much to my dismay I'm seriously thinking of abandoning my favorite soap. All My children had hit some slumps during all these years of my veiwing, but this is so annoying.
I believe the problem is you have too MANY characters taking up valuable space. Keep the characters that count (Dixie) and hold onto them.

Yes, Dixie has already been killed off the show. But just had to let off steam and say I am VERY mad Dixie has been killed. Cady McClain is a great actress and should have been given better material on her last return. She doesn't have 2 Daytime Emmys for no reason!!

The writers robbed all of us of what we had waited so very long for...the reunion of Tad & Dixie and their little girl Kate.
Everyday it becomes more and more difficult to watch. Tad has always been a favorite of mine and to see him now without any hope of his beloved Dixie back in his life, it's just difficult to watch. And if the storyline goes as I'm thinking it will then that will be it for me forever!
In time it will most likely come out that Tad is the father of bimbo Krystal's baby and then they will end up together again. I could barely stomach seeing him with her the first time! If Tad can't be with Dixie then so long AMC!

I've watched AMC from day one. There's been some stupid writing along the way, but killing off Dixie was the ultimate in stupidity. Also shows how in tune TPTB are with the fans. Soaps can always bring back the dead, so BRING HER BACK. Fire some writers instead.
