Since 1965, televisions have been turned on to view a half hour and soon an hour of daytime drama. For over 41 years, fans of all different ages from all over the world have tuned in to Days Of Our Lives. Some of us have been fans from the very beginning in 1965, some of us are more recently becoming fans, and some of us joined somewhere in the middle. But no matter how long we have been fans for, we all share one thing in common. We all love Days Of Our Lives and that's why we are their fans.

Days Of Our Lives is like a second family. We have grown attached to the characters and know their innermost secrets, joys, and fears. To lose Days Of Our Lives is like losing an entire family. The actors and actresses that make up our Days family mean so much to us. For some of us, our favorite actors and actresses are those that play on Days. To see them leave our screens would hurt us deeply. The talent they have is one of a kind.

For an hour each weekday, fans are able to escape reality and tap into the lives of Salemites. Seeing our favorite character(s), couple, and/or family provides us with a sense of comfort. For an hour, we are able to laugh, cry, love, hate, and plot along with Salem's finest.

To us, Days Of Our Lives is more than just an hour of daytime drama, it is a way of life. We look forward to this hour of television each day. If we aren't able to be home to watch it, our VCRs, DVRs, TiVos, friends' VCRs, DVRs, and TiVos, and any other means of recording are set. We get upset if we miss any episode for whatever reason.

We are begging you; please do not take Days Of Our Lives away from us. This show has had an impact on us all. We live for it. The Days Of Our Lives fan base is enormous and if it were canceled, there wouldn't be a dry eye in the bunch. We do not want to be faced with the possibility of Days ending. This soap opera has so much possibility and discoveries that cannot end.

Days Of Our Lives is a favorite television show for all of us. For some of us, it is our absolute favorite television show ever. It has affected all of our lives. We know to never give up and that love will find a way. The incredible family ties that are shown touch all of our hearts. A lot of us have grown up watching Days Of Our Lives, and a lot of us are allowing this show to be a part of our life as we get older. It keeps us glued to our television screens and talking for hours and days afterwards.

Please, do not end this era. It would devastate us. We want to be able to watch this show for years to come. We want to be able to continue our love and support to Days Of Our Lives. Once again, we are begging you. Please do not end this magical hour of daytime drama. Please let Days Of Our Lives continue on. We just want our show.

It's a great show with a great storyline that lets us escape from reality and enjoying the scenarios of different lives. I'm a mother of 4 with a very busy schedule, but I always DVR the show and make time to watch it. The actors are very talented and beautiful. The suspense and adventure of the show keeps you hooked. Overall, the show is very intriguing and interesting and I love watching it every day. I have enjoyed this show for 20 years and I hope they never cancel it.

So if you let the story continute on line we would all stay happy and not wonder what is going on after we rejoin the cast when the Olympics are over. The story line in such that myself and many other fans have come in for lunch when we were working and now if we cannot watch it we tape it and watch it at a different time. That way it feets in to everyones schedules. Keep up the good work we all enjoy escaping from our lives and being a part of Salem.

Now that I am more mature and of late have come to enjoy immensely the production values (sets, costumes, props) and all the smaller details that make it such a fascinating program. I, too, enjoy the quips and asides and literary references characters make. The actors are skilled and are not just a bunch of "pretty" faces indistinguishable from one another. I like the strong female characters (physicians, businesswomen, police officers) and would like to see women such as Sammi, Belle (of late), Nicole do something other than rely on men for their livelihoods and self-fulfillment. I am fond of the characters, their quirks and personality traits and the fullness of their development. In short, I would be very sad to see DOOL end, despite the realities of current TV financial realities. I would love to see it continue on on cable!!
