DRIVE is the best new show to come along in eons. Why on earth are you
cancelling it? You've barely given it a chance to gain an audience.
Please rethink your decision. |
| 57 |
26 Apr 2007 - 2:15
Michael L :
FOX you need to learn from your mistakes. You have me down to one last
show. I fear if I mention it you'll cut it too. |

Unbelievable. MOST PEOPLE DON'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT DRIVE YET! I repeat
- MOST PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW ABOUT THE SHOW YET! YOU DID NOT EVEN GIVE IT A
CHANCE. I'm done watching anything on Fox. I'm officially
boycotting your channel. F**K Your Network. |

Dear Fox Execs, You take another one of these shows off the air and you
will end up with no viewers left. |

26 Apr 2007 - 2:28
JadeHand :
9 days? really? I hope you reconsider. this is a quality show. I'm
sure that if you advertised a marathon of the already aired episodes, and
shifted the slot to a night that the brain dead weren't watching crap
reality shows, Drive would do very well. And put out The Inside on DVD
already. didn't the same brain dead show kill that? |
| 65 |
26 Apr 2007 - 2:30
Tori :
it is totally absurd to discontinue a series after only 2 weeks! What in
the world are the idiots at Fox thinking? Time, people! You would have
thought they learned their lesson after Firefly! Think of the major dollars
they ended up losing by canceling the show so soon! Idiots! |
| 66 |
26 Apr 2007 - 2:30
Benjamin :
Drive deserves at least 16 more episodes to flesh out plot lines and
characters. Fox killed it too early. Please give Drive another shot. |

Spike :
Dude you have a great show that you are doin' away with. Look at all
the recent movies about cars and racing and driving- If there wasn't
a market there how could there be three fast and furiouse's and the
new Redline? Finally I find somthing I can look forward to all week long
and you go and take it away! Give me mine Dammit, Give me mine! |

Very good show, please give it a chance |
| 70 |
26 Apr 2007 - 2:33
Tara H. :
Four episodes. Really. Only after THREE episodes, you decide to axe this
thing? That was rather short-lived. Considering that you pretty much had a
built-in fanbase of Browncoats from the get-go, that's pretty sad. ...
... ...So! FOX! When's the Drive movie coming out? |
| 71 |
26 Apr 2007 - 2:34
Caitlin. M. :
Dear Fox, May I just say that you canceling a show after 4
episodes has to be one of the absolute MOST ridiculous things I have EVER
heard. How can you possibly tell after only a handful of airings what is
what. Please give Drive a chance. An actual chance, not a half hearted stab
in the dark either. Let us fans have our show and you'll see how
ratings improve. Not every show is a hit from the get go. I mean look at
the original Star Trek. It was canceled after only one season. Plus Nathan
is hot and should have as mush air time as possible. It's only fair!
Please, give Drive a chance. A faithful fan,
Caitlin.M. |

Orrin H :
This is the first show that has caught my attention and enthusiasm in
years. Great characters and plot...please don't cancel it based on
the bad time slot it was assigned. Give it a try on another night if you
have to. I have been telling all my friends to watch and they have been
hooked like me. |
| 73 |
26 Apr 2007 - 2:39
Chelsea :
It is impossible to see how well a show is doing after only 3 episodes.
Drive is an amazing show and deserves a chance to show that. |

Shameless waste to cut it off so quickly. Bring it back immediately. |

found it by chance but have been telling everyone we know how good it its.
Come on Fox, get the word out and people will love this show! |

David Smith :
This is outrageous. You /keep doing this/!! Why?! Since when is not
being a House-like ratings behemoth after its first /four weeks/ grounds
for cancellation?! How can /anything/ be expected to find an audience in
FOUR WEEKS?! You people infuriate me. |
| 84 |
26 Apr 2007 - 2:56
Dae L :
Fox - Give a show a chance! 4 eps is not a chance. It would of caught on.
Have you heard of DVRing? Have you heard of DVD sales? GIVE A SHOW A
CHANCE! |
| 85 |
26 Apr 2007 - 2:58
Chris Filippone :
Seriously - you MUST be kidding me. You cancel the show after virtually no
time on the air. Shows need to be given SOME form of a chance to be able
to GET ratings, before you can say that it has none. If this kind of
lunacy keeps up - I sincerely hope that people have the sanity to stay away
from fox when bringing new shows to us all. Maybe then they'll be
given a chance. The more this happens, the less I want to watch this so
called - television channel. I'm disgusted. |

This show is brilliant, and doesn't deserve to be axed so quickly.
Give it a chance, FOX! After all, it's far more intelligent than some
of the trash you air (American Idol); give it time to gather a fan base. |

Abby :
PLease save Drive!! |
| 89 |
26 Apr 2007 - 3:02
Kim M :
Keep DRIVE on the air! Give it a chance to build up a following. At least
finish out the season so we can find out what happens! I know a lot of
people who love this show, but none of us have Nielsen ratings boxes. We
count. We matter too. 9 days isn't enough time to see is something is
going to be a certified hit. This is getting ridiculous. There have been
about 50 good shows Fox has cancelled, many of which I liked and
supported. It's getting more frustrating every time you put a show on
the air. I may just not watch anything else you put on tv. And by the way,
I hate American Idol and have never watched it. |

Drive is a GREAT show. It is the most original show to come out in such a

Shona :
Drive has been unexpectedly brilliant. Four episodes isn't enough to
give the show a chance... Fox has taken the air out of my tyres now.
Please, if there's another network that can take it on... please let
Drive survive for at least one season. |

Jay M :
Hey Fox! Your top show is the Simpsons, right? What does it say about you
when your top show makes a peristant habit of mocking the crud out of you?
You have some amazing shows, but you treat them all like garbage just
'cause they don't have Heroes-esque ratings in their first TWO
WEEKS. All I can say is: Firefly. Kinda blew it on that one, didn't
you? If you hadn't cancelled it after 14 episodes, it would be one of
the biggest sci-fi hit TV shows in recent history. Fox network officials,
you're idiots, the programs you keep are mostly piece-of-crap reality
shows... and frankly, kiss my ass, 'cause I'm done putting up
with your crap. Don't expect me to watch your network ever again. And
when American Idol is the only hour a week in which anyone watches Fox,
well, maybe you'll wish you hadn't axed so many great shows like
Firefly and Drive. |
| 96 |

Patrick :
Is it any coincidence that all you have left is TV for the brain-dead? What
happened to intelligent shows like The Inside and Tru Calling? Get a clue,
guys. Some of us enjoy TV that makes us think. Drive is amazing, and given
time, could attract a lot of viewers. If you pulled your heads far enough
out of your asses to see daylight, maybe you'd notice that,
'cause obviously cancelling things like Firefly was a mistake. |

Sue D. R. :
This was one of the few new shows that actually exceeded my expectations.
It is dramatic, funny, smart, unusual, and exciting. I actually said
'God, I love this show!' after the last one. Now is not the time
to abandon this show, it is the time to move forward with a greater push.
Show everything that's been shot, repeat them over the summer, make
them available in their entirety online so people can catch up, set up
buzz-worthy promotions and contests (like 'predict the winner and win
Tully's car') and promote the hell out of next season's
premiere, and you'll have a hit. Or else, sell it another network
with more sense and guts, keep a percentage of the DVD sales, and
you'll still come out ahead. Didn't that work for Stargate? |

Krystal Christian :
Four episodes just isn't enough for a show to hit its stride. Give
Drive another shot, guys. It deserves it. Tim Minear has a lot of talent,
and the world deserves to see it. Just give the show some time. It'll
get the viewers it needs. |

Jenny Mae Finster :
The only reason I watch FOX is for Drive and Prison Break. And the only
reason I ever saw Prison Break was because it was rerun on FX just before
resuming from its extended hiatus during its first season. The only reasons
I tuned into Drive were Nathan Fillion and Tim Minear. If it had been
anyone else I wouldn't have bothered because I knew you'd cancel
it just as I started to love it--you always do. It's your
pattern--either cancel it before its had a chance (FIREFLY) or run it into
the ground until it ****s (X-FILES).No more. Unless you keep Drive on the
air I will no longer view a show on Fox. Ever again. The only thing keeping
me a viewer is Drive and Prison Break. If you cancel Drive I will never
view Fox after Prison Break stops airing. I'm sick of investing time
in shows you're just going to cancel anyway. |
