Please reconsider your decision, and air the show from the beginning in
it's original timeslot on Sunday. Shows can't pick up a following
overnight, and your network is notorious for cancelling shows too early.
Firefly was popular enough to be one of the biggest selling titles on
Amazon for months. People need more then two weeks to get hooked on a show.
Think back to season 1 of the X-Files. If your executives had been as quick
to cancel things back then, you would have deprived society of one of the
most beloved genre shows of all time. It's hight time you started
giving things at least half a season before you cancel. Please reconsider. |

Love the show! I'd watch it on TV if it weren't for work! The
timeslot was so horrible this show deserves a slot on wednesday or friday. |

DRIVE is an awesome show. It appeals to so many different people that
given time it could pull a large audience (guys, women, young, old). Sure
it's an adrenaline packed action show, but it's also a plot-based
drama with character development. Let the viewers find the show before it
gets yanked after only being aired on 3 dates. Have you considered showing
the first episodes in other time slots? You do have some high profile shows
(oh, say American Idol?), so airing a re-run could open another pool of
potential viewers. Despite my desire to see this great show continue, it
seems that we must endure a premature ending. Instead of capturing the
sincere attention of nearly 6 million fans, this Monday night slot will
host re-runs of House. While I enjoy that show as well, I certainly will
not be recording those episodes like I have faithly done with the episodes
of Drive. My argument boils down to this - aren't 6 million viewers
better than none? |

PLease don't pull the plug on Drive, for the first time ever I have
found a show that both myself and my wife are into. The show has a great
cast and an incredible plot that left a lot of us hanging. Please give it
another chance. |

W. Howard :
WTF? Why do you keep developing GREAT shows and then prematurely killing
them????? DRIVE is fantastic! Tim Minear knows what he is doing...why
can't you trust him and go with this?? Fox is getting a really really
bad rep for this kind of thing. RETHINK!! NOW!! |

Stephanie :
Why. That is all I want to know. How can you say a show is going to fail
(or has failed for that matter) after only four episodes have aired. I
personally have been on the edge of my seat. Sure it could have been a bit
better, but every show can be a bit better. They had an awesome cast, a
great writer/creator, and amazing special effects. I have been looking
forward to this since hearing about it in December (Thanks, Tim!) and now
after only four hours of it, that's it. No more. Done. Finis. Thanks a
whole lot Fox. |

Airing three episodes is not enough to thoroughly gauge a show's
success. I'm sure it has been said before but just take House, for
instance. I say, give it a chance. If the ratings are still dismal after a
season, then pull it from the Monday night slot. |

Look. This show was good. Fox manages to basically ruin every good show it
puts on the air. I consider myself lucky every day that a new episode of
House plays. It was just one of those lucky shows that managed to do well
despite the channel it found itself on. Honestly, I'm about to give up
on watching any new Fox shows at all, since everything just gets cancelled
before it even has a chance to do well. I can't even tell you how much
I wish all of the good shows were picked up by ABC. |

BRILLIANT EXTRAORDANARILY EXCITING. WHY DOESN'T ANYONE AT MY JOB KNOW
ABOUT THIS FREAKIN MASTERPIECE????? WRONG TIME SLOT. THIS WAS A FREAKIN
LOSER TIME SLOT. Put one of your not so favored programs on here and put
DRIVE where it should have been. Behind IDOL on Tuesday night. Everyone
will watch HOUSE on a different night just as they would have followed
DRIVE if you hadn't put it in such a horrible timeslot! I NEED TO SEE
IT TO THE END!!!!!!!!! You have TICKED off lots of folks. But who are
they really??? They may be DISGRUNTLED POSTAL WORKERS!! DO YOU THINK
ABOUT THINGS LIKE THAT!!!!!!!! I loved 90210...I loved Melrose....BUT I
love this new flavor SO MUCH MORE. I could honestly picture this short
series on a big screen making |

oh come on!DRIVE deserves another chance. It has everything that a GREAT
show should have. How can FOX even consider taking it off the air after
only two weeks?!It's ridiculous!OK, so the show failed to attract an
outstanding number of people, but from records i have seen, FOX has given a
chance to other shows that fail to attract an audience on it's
premier. FOX would be making THE BIGGEST MISTAKE IN YEARS if the go through
with tyheir plans and pull the plug on DRIVE.PLEASE FOX, give a DRIVE
another chance; an AMAZING show like this deserves the benefit of the
doubt. If FOX decides to go through with their decision, the people behind
this excellent show should make a deal with another network. |

I don't get it. First Firefly and now Drive. Why pitch anything to
Fox at all anymore. They wouldn't know a good show if they pulled it
out of their ass. If it weren't for House I would never watch Fox
again. And maybe I'll stop watching it all together and just get
House off the internet. |

You haven't given DRIVE enough of a chance to prove itself. Look how
M*A*S*H was dead during its first season, and then what happened. Four
episodes are in no way an accurate ratings barometer. Bring it back; let it
live. |

Every time a new episode of Bones airs, I give thanks for small miracles:
that a show so fresh and meaningful is given a voice on a network which
treats most good shows like garbage, while placing true garbage on a
pedestal. With all the money that you make from brainless wrecks like
American Idol, you can surely allow one tiny glimmer of intelligence like
Drive to last more than two weeks on your network. I can safetly say that,
the moment Bones is cancelled, you will have lost another viewer for good.
Your instance on alienating intelligent people has left you with an
audience of lazy morons tuning in for their weekly dose of reality TV.
Shows that make you think and teach you a little something about life, and
remind us of those golden days when TV wasn't just about money, but
about art and society and family, are scarce. I had foolishly hoped that
you might give this one a chance to survive. You failed even my low
expectations, Fox. So farewell. I'll see you again when you give a
good show a good run. |

This is so disappointing. Fox is really ticking me off and I don't
feel like I even want to view their shows anymore. This is a great show
and it should have been given more than three weeks' worth of airings
to gain an audience. Fox is becoming a rather pathetic network that
obviously supports quantity over quality and could care less what any of us
thinks. |

I'm really sick of having to come here for great shows, and their
always Fox shows. If they really want to actually get good ratings for a
show, you need to let it go longer than four episodes. A lot of great,
memorable shows that lasted years did horrible in the first few episodes,
and Drive didn't even really do bad compared to others.I also find it
funny that two of the Fox shows I've come here for both star Nathan
Fillion (an incredible actor in my opinion) and written (co-written) by Tim
Minear, who is an awesome writer. Look, I understand that Fox wants to do
well, all the networks do there's nothing wrong with that. But letting
a show, one of the best shows they've had in years, go on for four
episodes only to cancel it and basically tell all their fans that they
honestly don't care what they think and don't care whether or not
we get the closure that we deserve as Fox viewers. They make these shows
for us to watch, we deserve to be treated better than this. Well I'm
done; if this show goes off the air, I'm not watching another Fox show
ever again. My family already agrees with me, and I'm going to get
everyone I can to join me.BTW: Mr. Fillion and Mr. Minear; if by some
miracle you read this and Drive doesn't get a second chance, I beg of
you, don't go to Fox again. I want to see both of you succeed and do
well, and I want to see more from you. It was Firefly that really got me
interested in this show, and now it's happening all over again. Just
some friendly advice from a dear fan. |

I'm 28 and from Ohio.I'm very upset about the cancellation of
'Drive.' I only watch two hours of TV a week, and before
'Drive' premiered, it was only one. If Fox won't give it a
chance, I hope NBC snaps it up, as Heroes could use a decent opener (or
follow-up). This show is not at all what I feared it would be. Instead of
Fastlane and the furious we got a drama with a varied cast, and intriguing
story and real but funny dialog. And now it's gone. I know Fox
won't bring it back though, the network seems to be allergic to
quality entertainment. They even managed to dilute all the funny out of the
Simpsons. |

Fox for once give a show other than 24 or Idol a chance to do a whole
season. If you won't commit to doing series spend the money on weekly
movies. You really only have a handful of viable shows and what are you
going to do when 24 ends and people are sick to death of Idol?? |

I was very dissapointed to hear about the cancelation of this show. 3
Episodes is hardly enough time to determine wether or not it would be a
success! Give it a chance atleast for one season! Don't make the same
mistake you made with Firefly. I may have to encourage people I know, am
related to, just meet and even those I don't know to NEVER watch Fox.
How can we ever take a chance with any of your new shows, I don't know
if they will stick around. Please don't cancel this show!!!!!!!!! |

Dave Fitches :
Dear FOX,Youve canned Drive based on 2 weeks of showings! How short sighted
can you be?Companies are sooo desperate for the mighty dollar now (and I
mean NOW, not 2 years on) that companies axe shows before they're
really given a chance.I can name a number of examples: Firefly (of course -
geez were you wrong there!), Global Frequency (did a pilot, left it there.
Sooo much potential!) Eyes (another brilliant show with much to offer)
Haunted, Justice, Pretender, B5 Crusade, B5 Legend of the Rangers, Surface,
Dead Like Me, DayBreak...The list goes on.When the hell will people stop
producing CRAP like BigBrother and other reality shows which are catering
to the tabloid media and it's loonies, and let quality have a decent
chance to shine! |

Liz B. :
Is it really so hard for a network to believe in a show that's
actually intelligent for once. I know some people don't have the
attention span for shows that require you to remember what happened from
one week to the next, but seriously, why promote the dumbing down of
America. Complex characters and character development over time is a great
thing and I wish Fox would realize that. |
