Goal Met!
Our environment is in a teribble condition. Water is acid, and the very air we breathe is toxic. I don't meen to be so blunt, but I know for a fact that our president, George W. Bush, has done very little for the environment, and has done several things to harm it. The list of things he has done against it is endless, but i will just name five....
1. Toxic waist dumping in Nevada
2. Oil drilling in Alaska
3. Taken money out of environmental programs for the war
4. Bison Slaughter
5. Against wolf protection
I know I don't stand alone believing that THIS IS WRONG! The environment and it's creatures deserve the same amount of respect we do, if not more. Please stand up for the rights of the environment! Bush, stop these unjust actions against the environment! Money isn't every thing! The environment needs help, and it must recover.

I support this petition strongly! Everything Bush is doing is harming the environment and not to mention the slaughter of wolves! Now that is beyond forgiveable! Rise up against the extinction of wolves and fight for the rights of these creatures!

(quote) THIS IS WRONG! The environment and it's creatures deserve the same amount of respect Does that include the unborn babies being aborted by the millions. If 2 dogs get abused people will cry in the streets but let millions of humans die and silence is the word LORD help us!

I TOTALLY agree that animals have as much right to live on this planet as we do. Has the president ever heard of animal rights? The world is in a terrible state, global warming, animal cruelty, stortage of fuel, and all Bush cares about is this stupid war. When will people grow up and realise that the earth is are home, and we better start protecting it, because we have to live here. Georhe Bush needs to GROW UP. There is more to life than oil.

I think that the world would be better without humans. For we just take, and take, we never give. We are at war with the environment, and this petition along with protesters are the only ones who are protecting it, so SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT!

I think fuel - powered cars should be banned. Only solar cars or electric cars.

Drilling in the Arctic is not a solution to the energy crisis it is merely a false promise that both the government and the oil corporations are using to pull the wool over everyones eyes. It is a huge money making venture for the the oil companies/government(one in the same). Most likely the oil will be sold overseas dispite what they want people to believe but if indeed it is sold here the so called lower oil prices could not justify endangering the lives and killing wildlife - some of which is not found anywhere else on earth.Of course many people are pro-drilling because the government-oil companies have created a promise of wealth to the people living there, better economy and a promise of lower fuel costs to citizens of the USA. Sounds great doesn't it - problem reaction solution! The consequences of these actions will be devastating. Where do we draw the line - they are already drilling in Alaska, allow them to drill in ANWR and they will never stop (give an inch take a mile). If the ANWR was owned privately like the Rainey Preserve owned by the Audubon Society the private owners could negotiate and oversee the operations to control what the oil companies do on their own preserves. If the oil companies sets up shop on public land there is no control over these oil drilling operations - meaning that economic development and protection for the environment is not controlled by anyone other than government. We have seen it time and time again and heard the promises of great things to come, answers to our problems and each time it has ended with disaster. Shame on the government for endangering any life - animal, plant and everything else that lives. Somewhere along the line they have decided to play God.Judging what can live, where it can live and put its quality of life at risk. Shame on us for not seeking alternative methods of energy of course we have to thank Bush for the 50% funding cut for research into renewable energy sources. They don&
