While 43-year-old white males are probably not the UPN's primary target demographic, I am still something of a Trekkie and watched Voyager, Enterprise and Nowhere Man throughout their duration. I believe Everwood's viewing demographic is larger than the ratings indicate. Because the show is "high brow" it appeals to an audience that is less likely to participate in ratings surveys. It is the most popular show among my friends and family, please don't cancel it.

I just read, that there are deliberations by the WB-Network to cancel the series “Everwood” after the current running 4th season. PLEASE, DON’T DO THIS. Surely, a network must decide rationally by ratings and advertising income. But sometimes, this is not all. I’m 29 (therefore in this highly searched viewing group) and I know, this series has a wide fanbase in all ages. And why ? Because this series is the best I’ve seen in TV in the last 15 years. Great actors, highly fascinating story lines (either dramatic or funny), good-written dialogues, here fits all together. If you now cancel this series, you will have a lost of quality in your program, and you will lose a lot of viewers, which have no trust in your network anymore. So please consider your decision.
