I support this petition. This show will be another 7th Heaven if given better promotion. It is the most "thoughtful" and real show on television. Give it a chance to develop!!
Everwood needs to stay and make the move to the CW! The reason it doesn't get high rates is because it isn't promoted very well unlike the other shows. The only reason OTH has a lot of viewers is because Chad is on there and everyone tuned in for him and then got hooked. People will realize how good Everwood is if we actually promote the show. COME ON GUYS!

positive message, while I do not agree with some of the topics, this show by far is more "family friendly" than most on the WB. Please keep it going!

I support this petition. I have traveled to Utah for vacation to visit the various sites of 'Everwood' and the people/business owners I spoke with not only love the show as much as America and I do, but love how their towns are booming and people are coming back to life in their communities. Les Moonves, CBS' CEO has done several things wrong when it came to cancelling shows, like Joan of Arcadia, Judging Amy and Enterprise especially, for me. I support this petition because Everwood cannot be taken down, it would hurt way too much.
I support this petition. Nothing but profits can stop the corporate machine in motion. As a screenwriter I can honestly say that this is one of the best written shows on television. Three dimentional story lines, characters and dialogue are rare these days. If the series does get tanked maybe we will finally get more seasons out on DVD. What's the hold up???

I support this petition. I am begging you not to listen to the early speculation that EVERWOOD is likely not going to make it to the CW fall schedule. While it's ratings have not been great this year, it also needs to be remembered that it has been on several EXTENDED HIATUSES and that its move to Thursdays was a lousy scheduling choice and somewhat of a death knell, particularly given the lack of publicity that came with the move.
I am asking you to please take a fresh look at the show when it returns to the air in two weeks and remember it is the only quality family drama left on television. Also, remember when paired with the soon-to-be-gone SEVENTH HEAVEN on Monday nights, it retained more than ninety percent of its audience on a regular basis.
I know that many are speculating that only one show out of EVERWOOD and ONE TREE HILL duo is likely to make the leap. Please keep in mind that EVERWOOD is a critical favorite whereas Matt Roush of TV Guide wrote: "There is a special place in hell reserved for the writers of ONE TREE HILL." That joke of a drama has already tried every trick in the book numerous times and it still cannot come up with a watchable product.
So if the rumors are true that between GILMORE GIRLS, EVERWOOD, & VERONICA MARS (another critical fave but not to the extent of EVERWOOD) you are only planning on holding on to at most two and possibly one of the shows, I again urge you on behalf of television writers and watchers everywhere to keep EVERWOOD and, if you still have room, VERONICA MARS (although I can easily show you a grid in which all three shows would fit nicely. I understand your job is to produce ratings, but you do not want to have CW develop a reputation of Reality Shows and Urban Comedy shot on the cheap. By keeping EVERWOOD (and hopefully VERONICA and possibly GILMORE as well), you would take a huge step in showing that your new merged network cares about the quality of programming it p
