I have watched Everwood since it began....please don't take it off for another "teen" show...One Tree Hill. Everwood is so much more....I am 57 and I thoroughly enjoy every show.
San Jose, California - The WB has been 13 on our local cable. I read in our local paper today that the CW has decided to keep the sappy, insipid, badly acted 7th Heaven and scrap the suburbly written and directed, beautifully cast, wonderful Everwood. What's wrong w/ this picture? At least they kept Vernoica Mars. so they don't think we are all total idiots. Too many well crafted smart shows have died a premature death lately. How about putting quality and integrity above dubious ratings statistics and rewarding writers, directors, actors who excell at their craft?
Everwood is one of the best and cleanest shows out there for teens and young adults why are t.v. executives always trying to replace the good with the trash?
This is one of the best shows on television. 7th Heaven is a good show too, but has had a ten year run and there was definite closure. Why bring this back at the expense of another quality program that is also family oriented? One show does not replace the other.
This was definitely one of the best shows on television. It's incredibly sad that they would cancel it because of a ratings spike on a series finale. A travesty actually.
Please find a spot somewhere, anywhere, for this show. I cannot understand why this quality program can't find a home on a new network! Please, if not The CW, shop it around. It's going to be aired in syndication on ABC Family; perhaps they would put up the money to produce another season?
Everwood is a wonderful series that hasn't run it's course (as 7th Heaven has). It's one of the few programs that honors the family and everyday life. To end it is an insult to loyal viewers and their intelligence. I have never missed or been disappointed in an episode. Many of the stories are an inspiration and could be used as teaching tools. There isn't much on TV that can make that claim. To cancel Everwood would be a crime. Please don't let it leave us.
