I support Everwood and I am very surprised that you would cancel this wonderful "Family" entertainment. Finally a show I can enjoy with my children....and then you remove it. Shame on you!!
I have watched "Everwood" since it began and I sincerely hope that the new CW will reconsider and find room for this quality show in the Fall lineup. The production value of this show is revealed through its subject matter and the gifted actors who consistently bring the storylines to life. The lives of these characters and the town of Everwood, Colorado have so much more to reveal, so PLEASE give them the chance to do so. We will all be much better off watching their journey continue to unfold and so very disappointed if there is an abrupt and untimely end.
What is the justification for renewing the worst written show (as well as horrible acting and directing) on television "7th Heaven" and cancelling one of the better written written shows "Everwood"? Everwood represents some of the best acting/writing recent television has to offer. I don't think I shall be supporting The CW anymore than I have to. It will be blocked in my household.
Everwood is a wonderful program. Well written and acted as well as tackling important issues. I have a problem with One Tree Hill continuing. A man killed his brother and got away with it. A wife tried to murder her awful husband. Teenagers got married, almost divorce and back together, all the characters are having sex. What kind of lessons do we want to teach to our young people? You can get away with murder and drink and party through high school? I though One Tree Hill had potential, but they fell off the path. Everwood, however, has remained what it was and grown, in character and as an enjoyable show that makes you laugh and cry. Reconsider keeping trash over treasure.
Why in the world will they show an encore presentation of America's Next Top Model when they can show Everwood in that slot? A show that gets better ratings than several of the shows that they have on the schedule. Stupid move CW. Your logic makes no sense.
PLEASE SAVE EVERWOOD! This show has been more than entertainment for me, it has taught me about life through it's poignant stories. Please save the show, it is the best show on television today! Head on over to the Everwood forums and you will see that by canceling this show you will be losing tons of viewers. Please, we cannot beg you enough, save Everwood!!!
