The purpose of facebook was for college students to stay in touch with friends they otherwise would not have. Since its initial launch, it has become increasingly stalker-friendly. Although Facebook users have dealt with this in order to continue using the useful aspects of Facebook, it has gone too far. The changes that occured on Tuesday, September 5, 2006 are to a stalkerish extreme and should be gotten rid of. Rather than helping to keep students in touch, aspects of facebook such as the "News Feed" and the "Mini Feed" merely take away from the privacy of Facebook's users. We want these features to be removed from Facebook in order to reobtain the credibility of Facebook and end the encouragement of stalking throughout the teen agegroup.
