Bryce is the wrong choice for Phillip Spaulding. Offer Grant Aleksander a sum he cannot refuse.

If Philip does return to Springfield, I really would prefer Grant Aleksander to resume the role. Besides, the name Philip is on everybody's lips in Springfield and they keep showing Grants' picture. Please bring Grant back.

We all know that your show will survive it's ratings no matter what the writers, producers, etc decide to do. However, for once it would be nice that you would honor the viewer's choice and bring back Grant Aleksander. The timing is perfect . . let him be the author of Springfield Burns. Negotiate a deal and get back the actor we love seeing! He really is an integral part of the show. I personally record the show and watch in the evening but since Phillip's departure I fast forward through a large portion of the show. The creativity in storylines is lacking greatly from it's past and the new actors are certainly not as impressive as someone like Grant!!! Spice it up GL . . show what you're made of!!! Honor the fans and get the man back!!! Then you could get some storylines that would really pop!!!

I have missed him in his role of Phillip. Beth needs him, not Alan. Come back, please.

Please bring Grant Aleksander back to GL as Phillip Spalding. He needs to come back to rescue Beth from Alan. I like Alan, but not with Beth. The show needs Phillip back free to be Phillip.

I would like to see Grant Aleksander return to GL. He is greatly missed and I'm sure his fans would like to see him come back. If I remember correctly, it seems as though the writers of GL were dangling the idea of Phillip returning and showing Grants picture in early april. If they are going to bring grant back, bring him back. the writers open the door for his return, but nothing is happening. And none of the characters on GL are not even speaking Phillips name. If Grant isn't going to return as phillip, I wouldnt want to see anyone else take his place. Kill him off again. But I don't want to see this happen. Fans of Grant would like to see his return. PLEASE BRING HIM BACK!

If one thinks of the structure of the show in terms of architecture - (as in constructing a house or perhaps a Lighthouse) then I believe the writers have been systematically removing load-bearing beams,and the cornerstone: Phillip/minimizing the Bauers. I guess the walls will be coming down. They already are - the outdoor set CO2. It probably serves the purpose of an inexpensive set where everyone can bump in to each other and eavesdrop, but it is claustrophobic. I can't really get in to other soaps but I know your casting is amazing so you stand to lose people who go on to other things, but I've worked on many tv shows and know the signs of cancellation fear and how destructive and consuming that perception is. I can tell you are trying to deal with a cut budget, but now is the time to rethink if it is effecting the direction you take the show. Your viewers like the stability that GL always had. I've been listening/watching the show most of my life (56) and I'm probably not the typical soap viewer (no other soap interests me), but there is something different with GL. It must be the characters. I actually empathize with them and I find that I use the predicaments and their motivations as talking points with my daughter (20). Not only has she turned out well, but she is a very good writer. I'm seeing signs that the shows weaknesses can lead to its crumble and that would be sad.I wish you'd listen to the actors more. I think in the case of Grant Alexander he was objecting to the direction of his character. If your actors care enough to stand up for this, you should listen. It is also the barometer of the audience. They need the characters to run true. Too many readers comments say, "he/she wouldn't do that..." It would be a shame to lose the show. Please step back and see where you are taking things. Thank you.
