Please don't take away our beach. I'm not old enough to drive or take a taxi by myself but my brother and friends like to walk down and play and swim. It's the only great fun FREE outdoor pursuit we have!
The sea belongs to everybody. Why block it off to the general public? Not everybody can afford or even wants to join a hotel club for the privilege of visting a Dubai shoreline. The Dubai Marina is already cluttered with the slums of the future. Why make it worse?
Time has past but the beach still remain, helps us to preserve this beach as is the closest thing to paradise, beautiful romantic sunset and the view of the Only tallest 7-STAR Hotel.
Having lived in this country for 17 years, I have seen many things taken and given to the residents of Dubai and we have lived with it so far - but this event is too much, Dubai's coastline is symbolic of different cultures coming together to enjoy a common interest - having fun.
This is so unneccesary and unfair. We have all the hotels we need here in dubai,but very few places where we can see and feel the sea without traverling along way. This is a big and ugly mistake.!!!!
I have lived in Dubai for my entire life. The beach is practically home for me!!!! :'-( When ppl think of dubai, the first thing that comes to their mind is the beach!!!!!!! save it :-(
I have lived in dubai for 14 years and that the government is allowing them to take away the free beaches is not only bad for us, but that's why there is hardly (none) sealife and coral reef left in Dubai!! Think smart DUBAI...
When will it stop? The "real" Dubai is vanishing fast under a tide of concrete. Please save what little is left of natural beauty for all of Dubai's residents to enjoy
Please save the beach. It is important to have somewhere to take the children to play. We also need to protect the environment. The beach is an area of outstanding beauty and is important for tourism. It is somewhere I take visitors to Dubai. There needs to be a limit to development!
Please don't take our public beaches away from us. We came to Dubai to enjoy the outdoor lifestyle, don't ruin it by closing the public beaches or we'll all go back home!

This beach is so popular,it is always busy, from sunrise to sunset. A beautiful setting and one of the only places where it is possible to get some exercise and fresh air, and escape the construction and traffic. What does Dubai have to offer residents or tourists if there isn't any beach?

The one place that every nationality, of all ages enjoys and it is free, what is the sense in taking this away for another development. Dubai does not need it but it needs the beach, please reconsider this appalling situation and question the morality of it all, thanks.
I am quite new to Dubai and was very supprised and dissappointed to find so little public beach and now what there is, is being developed. I belive this lack of thought will ultimately put overseas people off movingto Dubai and so investing in its future.
It's quite disgusting! What the hell for? Hasn't Zabeel Investments got enough money already? Has anyone contacted Greenpeace or any other environmental protection agency?
i want our beach safe from jumeirah hoyel marina to the location of the life saving gard structure, we urgently need our natural beach we did not build our house here to look at concrete blocks and a congestion of people. It is our haven, my grand mother 14 years ago she loved this beach with all my aunties and came from UK invest in Dubai at the condition that she finds a spot on thisa beach to put her residence... after the land was purchased, the house built facing the sea, she moved her business to dubai. what is left for her now Zabeeil project to admire? she is planing to run away...she did not come for a limpy beach similar to the beach in front of al raha hotel in abu dabi which is repursive..
SAVE THE BEACH. We already have enough commercial adn residential places, what we need is a decent beach and if the resort is built then our beach will be gone. Please sign this petition to save jumeirah beach.
