this is the begining of the end for greed dubai. there are going straight in the wall. im advising all my clients not to invest in dubai.
because its a dead end like Palm Project.
People give so much to Dubai, let them have somewhere they can go with their families and enjoy themselves. Life is not always about money, it is about freedom and spending time with friends and family, enjoying the free things nature gave us.
Jumeirah Beach is a place where all can enjoy and is one of the added attraction for tourists, expats and locals to enjoy. Keep the beach open for all! Thanks.
Please the Jumeirah beach open to the public it is the only place where we go during weekend for free and we rather go to the beach rather than a park which is with entranc fee.
In light of all the development already going on Dubai, this is unnecessary. Do not make the same mistakes as Miami and Barcelona and block access to the water.
To whom it may concern:
We know everything in Dubai is money, and for me and the support of my friends. Jumeirah Beach is the place that you can hang-out w/friends & family on a weekend for a free, where you can relax w/out worriying whether you have a pocket money or not.
Please stay the beach open to the public because the beach belong to the community forever.
The little slice of beach which is left for public should be left alone and the authorities should step in to stop this ongoing crazy and greedy construction racket. Not all of us can afford to go to Burj Al Arab to see the waves!!!
saving Jumaira beach should be part of the environment protection project,The government of Dubai has always been proud of.
constructing anything on that beech will surely contradict the principe of environment protection project.

what will be left when thats gone? NOTHIN!!! dubai is place for tourists and people that live here enjoy it in the summer. once thats gona whats going to happen to the country.
I fully support this petition. New Dubai is driving long time expatriate residents away in favour of fast money from tourists. Dubai must not lose all its identity and beauty.
I believe the people who are making these decisions are thios who own private beaches themselves and those who can afford beach club memberships! This is such a shame. Will we get to the stage when Dubai is totally commercialised? Please stop this disgrace.
A small slice of our beloved planet –v- $$$$$. Is it any wonder Mother Nature is in turmoil? Come on developer – would you rather be admired and applauded for taking your development elsewhere or loathed? WHAT DO WE WANT? The last remaining, treasured, unspoilt, free, public, ocean playground (aka Jumeirah Beach). WHEN DO WE WANT IT? Now…… and forever.
I used to camp on beaches in Dubai. But now there are really none left. Almost every one has been built on. Really a shame and a huge loss for future generations who won't be able to get close to their heritage.
A public domain beach in Dubai is absolutely essential. Clearly, the resort hotels have generated millions of tourism dollars, but it is also essential to remember the permanent population of Dubai. Without public beaches, parks, etc, Dubai becomes a much more unattractive place to live. If Dubai government makes it completely attractive for residents to remain in Dubai, the tourism industry will certainly suffer as a result of an inferior work force.
With very few strips of beach left untouched in Dubai, I find it necessary for residents here to address their concerns over this issue as it relates to our quality of life.
Beach life may not be the part of the UAE culture but it is for expats. This beach has provided us with many happy occasions. It would be a mistake to close it.
Love this beach, has an unspoilt & natural feel to it. For Dubai, it stands out as a bastion of the slogan 'the best things in life are free'. Please keep the beach.
I am up to here with this crappy government. The neighbourhood I live in is basically a dump, I mean it takes 15 mins to get to my school when I live not even 500 meters away from it. Please don't take yet another beach away from us.
Unbelievably in a time when the government focus is on reducing obesity in locals and expats this decision removes a free venue for tackling this issue. The beach is the one place where ALL can exercise and relieve their stress. Show some logic and reverse this decision.
I was born in Dubai and remember the days of free beaches. It was beautiful and very peaceful!
There are many developments now on those free beaches we grew up on! Most of them beautiful! It was nice that the Government of Dubai kept a few stretches of free beaches in Dubai specifically the Jumeirah area but now I hear it is also going in for real estate development project! This is a pity because it was all we had left!
Please don't take it away from the people of Dubai. Let us enjoy what is left of free beaches in Jumierah with our future generations.
This is a penny wise pound foolish. It takes away one of the the charms of Dubai. A beautiful beach that is visitied my thousands from all over the world.
Most major cities in the world have beautiful public beaches that are accessible. If Dubai wants to be thought of as a great city, and not just a business corporation, it should choose to protect the right of the many versus the rights of the money...
Jumeirah is something I look forward to after a hard day's work. The beach sustains and inspires me in so many ways. It's a lifeline, don't take it away
