People give so much to Dubai, let them have somewhere they can go with their families and enjoy themselves. Life is not always about money, it is about freedom and spending time with friends and family, enjoying the free things nature gave us.

Jumeirah Beach is the place that you can hang-out w/friends & family on a weekend for a free, where you can relax w/out worriying whether you have a pocket money or not. A small slice of our beloved planet –v- $$$$$. Is it any wonder Mother Nature is in turmoil? Come on developer – would you rather be admired and applauded for taking your development elsewhere or loathed? WHAT DO WE WANT? The last remaining, treasured, unspoilt, free, public, ocean playground (aka Jumeirah Beach). WHEN DO WE WANT IT? Now…… and forever.

A public domain beach in Dubai is absolutely essential. Clearly, the resort hotels have generated millions of tourism dollars, but it is also essential to remember the permanent population of Dubai. Without public beaches, parks, etc, Dubai becomes a much more unattractive place to live. If Dubai government makes it completely attractive for residents to remain in Dubai, the tourism industry will certainly suffer as a result of an inferior work force.

I was born in Dubai and remember the days of free beaches. It was beautiful and very peaceful! There are many developments now on those free beaches we grew up on! Most of them beautiful! It was nice that the Government of Dubai kept a few stretches of free beaches in Dubai specifically the Jumeirah area but now I hear it is also going in for real estate development project! This is a pity because it was all we had left! Please don't take it away from the people of Dubai. Let us enjoy what is left of free beaches in Jumierah with our future generations.

This is a penny wise pound foolish. It takes away one of the the charms of Dubai. A beautiful beach that is visitied my thousands from all over the world. Most major cities in the world have beautiful public beaches that are accessible. If Dubai wants to be thought of as a great city, and not just a business corporation, it should choose to protect the right of the many versus the rights of the money...
