i agree to develop the area, but leave the beach accessible to all public, like cote d'Azur in France, or the french riviera.. beach is a public property always.

When my 4 year old son and I go to the beach I show him that not all fun things in life cost money. It shows him value in the greatness of nature and how to learn to be respectfull of the beauty around us.It is our time to play in the calmness of the waters, bathe under the glorious sun.And not have a waiter hovering over us to take our order. Collect seashells that are natural and haven't been swept clean by a cleaner doing his job at a 5 star beach resort. Everything in simplicity. Dubai is know for its beautiful sandy beaches, it would truly be sad if all were not able to enjoy this freedom.

They're paving paradise and putting up a parking lot.

The Jumeirah Beach is one of the last natural places in Dubai,where we can go with our towel, take a swim and relax, without considering any dress code or an expensive entrance fee. Please let the beach be natural.

The public beach is the only place where families who cant afford expensive malls and restaruants can entertain themselves. It would be a pity if the Government took that away from them

I am an ex resident of dubai and going to the beach was one of the main attraction just like it is for a lot of the tourists and residents.

Please save the nature, these thing are hard to get these days, lets not make life so commercial that even the basic or simple things in life are going to be inaccessible.

Left Dubai after 3 years in August of 2006. Allow people access to beaches without a fee; dont build on this beach!
