i live close to the beach and i love it! I bet this will add even more value to thoses palm island houses. so while the rich get more, the poor get less!
This small part of beach should STAY public, we cannot all afford to pay the high fees at the hotels to 'use'their beach. Has so far always proudly encouraged my guests from abroad to go to this particular beach as it's still Ășndeveloped' - that was until I saw the fence!! Don't spoil this spot- please Dubai!!
I've grown up with that beach and it really is one of the few places that people can go to enjoy the beauty of Dubai shores! I don't want to have to pay to go and enjoy something that should be free anyways. Doesn't dubai have enough land to build on? Do you have to take this away? Leave some natural beauty. Sky scrapers and concrete jungles are fine to a point, but nothing can beat a day at the beach.
I am new to Dubai and came from New York city to work in the financial sector here. One of the reason I came was to enjoy large wild beaches and desert, although my company offered me a private club access.
I cannot believe what I am reading: this country is WAY below the standards in term of SUSTAINABLE developpment.
its not fair the beach is the only place that you can be free from all the stress of the week so please ther is 1000s of a good location for hotel leave some space to people to feel happppppppppy
I've lived in Dubai for over 10 years now. I was here when almost the entire coast of Dubai was for the public. This is one of the last free beaches left and people need a place where they can go without having to pay entrance fees. Leave our beach alone!
This stretch is our ONLY link to reality in Dubai, its a wonderful Beach culture that should be maintained, We dont want to go to the Beach Hotels on the weekend, its where we walk hand in hand, its where kids play, its a place where people from all walks of life, all nationalities, all backgrounds get together, realx, have fun, socialize and dream. What you should do is encourage this beach culture. Go the beach and you will see from its cleanliness that people really care about, the people that use the beach keep ot clean, why ??? because we care, and we care because its OUR beach, we don't want any more high shiny towers, we want whats real and this beach is real because all the poeple that use it are real. PLEASE don't mess with our Beach.
When I saw the pictures in the newspaper of Jumeirah beach with the scaffolding that's been erected around the best part of it, I thought it was too late to do something like this. I wish I could sign a thousand petitions to prevent the wealthy ones taking over again.
Beautiful and clean place that we can bring our families and friends, A place that you can easily relax..everything its getting higher here in Dubai so please dont take away the beatiful view atleaset.
The Dubai government is very greedy and very stupid. Dubai is fast becoming over grand, over artifical, geared just for the super-rich. And yes, I dont like what they are doing, and I will leave. This city is not the pleasant place it used to be. It's been going crazy for some time and stealing this beautiful beach away is violating everybody's basic rights. This plan sucks Dubai government, cancel it please....
Always enjoy walking on it every Friday lets noo lose another open space to buildings/hotels, another city like all the rest being suffocated through greed
Please don't take away the best aspect of living in Al Barsha! Having a place to meet on the beach and surf is important to the health of the community.
Since I came in Dubai 13 years ago, Jumeirah Beach is one place where we can find solace and relax with families and now to stress out the present economic condition.
The Beach belongs to the public and not greedy businessmen. This is enough, Dubai has gone too far. Leave the beach in it's natural state, the one people have always loved and always will.
Please leave some good places for the public. Anyways the rate at which the infrastracture is growing, there may no public places available. Atleast people can find peace / relaxation at such a nice beach. Try to make it more better for the public rather than close it. My kids virtually grew up on this beach.
Please do not take our beach away. It is being becoming so difficult to find a place to relax and enjoy the beautiful sea. Please spare us this bit in your development. Please let those who cannot afford to be member in a club to enjoy the pleasure of the beach. Thank U.
