Thanks for organising an online campaign protest - I couldn't believe it
when they mentioned the closure.
Please Please do not close that area...its a fantastic, clean beautiful
beach which isn't destroyed by tourists. Please build property coastline
developments elsewhere - this area brings lots of expats from abroad to
enjoy the sun, clean beach and the fantastic view ...for free!! Thats why nature is there..to enjoy it, not destroy it!!
A very furious Jumeirah beach lover..
A sea city without any more public access to the sea...Very weird, even more when the government is trying to preserve traditions and heritage which are here very related to the sea life.
I remember the beauty of this coastline from when I worked here in the early 1970's. Don't take the last bits of it away! - - - - - -
Please leave somewhere that can be enjoyed by the ordinary people who are helping to build the fabulous new Dubai that you want.
This is becoming a shameful habit for the Emirate of Dubai. What will be left for the National population to enjoy? Expats and their money come and go, the Emirati people deserve to retain something.
People will stop coming to Dubai to live if there are no public areas. It's just not how you build a successful city. Imagine if the US government where so short sighted that they built a condo development on Central Park?
"Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the earth."
God is watching the destruction of His Creation - watch out Dubai, no developers are more powerful than the Lord's might and power.
Please not another beach closure, see what happened to Madinat Jumeirah Beach which is now being enjoyed only by the rich who can afford to check in...
Adding man-made beaches and structures is one thing but taking away a natural beach and access to it is a whole new level of misunderstanding of nature,,,think again please.
Who will come to Dubai when the beach road will be a closed wall of private resorts?
By giving away the last bits of accessible natural shore, not only Dubai will loose its appeal for many of us, but it will also show the worst example of environement policy for the next generation
The beach has been there for years and should remain there for all the expats that live and work here. There are enough man made developments already - leave something natural
Not everyone can afford expensive beach clubs... and a lot of people don't even like beach clubs! An unspoilt, natural beach for relaxing walks is important. Take this away from us, and it's another step towards going crazy in this hectic city!
It astonishes me that government bureaus rule without conscience and it concerns me greatly that residents have no recourse but to endure greedy agendas. Is everything for sale in Dubai?
Where will all this development end?!? This is a beautiful resource & one of the few remaining things in this city that provides free family entertainment
Please keep this beautiful beach not only for residents and tourists to enjoy but also for the children. My kid cried when I told him the beach is closing....keep it natural and free for everyone to enjoy.
