To any CBS folks who read this... if you put this show after "How I Met Your mother" you could hold the 18-35s for an entire evening. This show is fantastic.
I was really really upset whenever i heard they cancelled this show. I agree it was a creative show and i am upset that CBS didn't give the show a chance. I have watched the episodes so far and am very disappointed. Very Sad!
This show was just hitting it's stride, with each episode being more entertaining than the last, and now it's apparenlty been put on "hiatus". It's introduced me to some songs that I wouldn't have heard otherwise, and it's extremely witty. I was interested to see who the next "star" they discovered would be, after Teddy Greiger (Wayne on the show) debuted his album in March.
A great show with likable characters, smart dialog, and an interesting commentary on modern music. Not enough guns and sirens for the average viewer, it seems. Well, I'm not the average viewer and was very happy to have something so enjoyable and different to watch. Do the programming people watch the show? They're as bad as the suits in the show. This show was like Wayne and CBS has killed real talent in the quest for a hot product.
I've been wanting to watch Love Monkey, but unfortunately I was unable to the first 3 episodes. Of course tonight, Tuesday Feb 14th I was set to watch the show and NCIS was on. I just saw Teddy Geiger in concert at Mercury Lounge and knew about him because of the exposure on Love Monkey.
CBS has totally dropped the ball on this one.

What I don't understand is why they take it off now, considering they have other episodes made that they could be airing. It's not like a rerun of some stupid cop show is going to get better ratings. Love Monkey is an amazing show, who knows what could have happened if they gave it a few more weeks. I know people who were going to watch it tonight for the first time because I told them how good it was. It's a shame.

Jeez, the first network TV show I actually make time to watch since Seinfeld, and it gets yanked after 3 episodes? I'm going back to cable.
Great show being wasted...I dont really watch tv, but when I saw the first promo for this show I watched and loved it every second...Imagine, a show thats not based in a hospital, law office, or crime scene, or damn reality crap at that...Please bring it back...Please? Please? OK, enough begging, and no more watching CBS until it comes back on.

Finally a breath of fresh air in this copycat industry. It only figures that a network would fold up and run before a show outside the box even gets a real chance to take off. At least show the already finished episodes and see what happens
'Love Monkey' really could have developed an audience and made CBS the network to watch on Monday nights. Really disappointing news. This show was one of the few shows today worth changing the channel for.
cancelling Love Monkey has got to be one of the most bone-headed moves of all time! this is a show in which everyone can enjoy and identify with the plot lines whether or not you have any insight into the music industry. I loved Tom Cavanah in "Ed" which ran its natural course, and was really looking forward to seeing him every week on the new show. But hey, what else can you expect from CBS, who blew up the heritage and much-loved WCBS-FM oldies station in NYC and put in its place a nauseating pile of crap. thank you, corporate bean-counters!
I support this petition. After only three shows I don't think its fair you guys just shut it out! I am so upset! I cried when I turned to channel 2 and saw that they were showing NCIS - please bring it back! This is one of those rare shows that may evolve into one of the classics like Friends, Seinfeld, and other great shows. They all have the same elements - they have dynamic characters everyone can relate to and of course they are filmed in the best city ever - New York!

seriously, must all major networks insist on cancelling every show that is clever, well-written, smart and interesting? all of my friends watch this show and it's one of the only good things on tv right now. bring it back!
Canceling this unique show would be an incredible mistake. I fail to see how this decision could be made without actually giving the show more than a couple of weeks to find its audience. NBC gave Seinfeld a chance and look what happened there. Cancellation is not only a serious mistake but a generator of bad will, why should I bother to give any new show a chance if CBS is going to prematurely and arbitrarily pull the plug?

Jeeze CBS give the show a chance. I thought it had really good characters and good writing. It was refreshing to see something like this rather than all the CSI and reality garbage.
I don't watch any tv shows but this one was great because it was different than the usual crap that's on tv. Way to go CBS, I removed ou from my channel list again...
Come on guys only 98,446 to go to meet the goal. And then we get on CBS's web site and beat them into submission, let's stand up for a show that is finally worth watching!
once in awhile, a show of realistic proportions consisting of clever everyday dialogue and substance comes along. chances like these have to be savored. LOVE MONKEY fit the bill. with exposure and time, this diamond in the rough will soon shine. just take a risk....please cbs
I support this petition because A. I have been disgruntled since Freaks and Geeks got cancelled and B. Love monkey is better than and CBS/ ABC/ FOX/ NBC show out there.
I say we chain ourselves togethor all the way around the CBS building and refuse to let anyone go inside untill LOVE MONKEY is back on, or if there is any multi millionares signing this petition spot us some money and we can by the right to love monkey and keep filming and airing it.
CBS is incredibly short sighted. How on earth are viewers supposed to keep up with the schedule changes that keep happening. Loved the show... bring it back with a proper lead in. Is this rocket science?
I love this tv show. the humor was clever. I could relate to this program. I love music. My best friend is an A&R rep for a major label. We'd watch the show together and get a huge kick out of it.
The show was just refreshingly different. Good music, clever plot, and something that was a bit human. and the best thing was that it's not reality tv either!
C'mon guys. You finally put out a good show and only 4 episodes in, you yank it? First off, the ratings weren't that good because you had it on at 10pm. Any genius knows that you should put it at 9. 10 pm is a tough slot. A lot of people are already going to bed by that point. Anywho, CBS is making a HUGE mistake in cancelling this show. Love Monkey is one of the few shows on TV that tries to be different and it turned itself into my favorite show. When i turned and found it wasnt on tonight I was in shock!!!

I support this petition. This show was quirky, funny, and reminded me of a version of Scrubs made for he music industry. Tom Cavanagh is a great lead and this show had a future on a network that has been lackluster of late. Not only did the show provide light in the dark cave of reality and CSI that CBS resides in but it also opened people's eyes to good music that is just waiting to be heard.

I get off of work at 9:30 on tuesdays and I literally run 24 blocks and up the 6 flights of stairs to my apartment to make sure I don't miss anything.
