With all the lame sitcoms on TV these days - not to mention the plethora of reality shows - the network cancels Love Monkey? Give me a break. Great show - was just starting to mesh... really really disappointing. Bring back my Monkey!!! My love monkey!!!
I just heard this show was not being continued and I'm shocked!!! Great show, great cast, great music... why cancel it?! IT seemd to me that this show was just going to keep getting better and better!!!
How can you take this show away from us? This show is the show that appeals to the internet age of music fans. It's miles ahead of "music" driven shows like The O.C. as it's truly about the music and everything around it. Today's society has an abundance of music through pop radio, internet webpages and now, satellite radio. Here is a way to discover new artists, launch careers, and promote artists, which in turn will promote the show and get the ratings you want. Give it a fair shot, I mean, three episodes? Plus you skipped a week? What are people supposed to think? The reason why the ratings drastically decreased by the third show is that we didn't know if it was playing or not anymore, and by putting it on hiatus, you're only doing worse. Bring it back, with a good lead in, in a better timeslot and give it the real advertising push it deserves. Did I mention the critics loved it?
This show was one of the absolute best. Why it was on the "Geritol Network" is beyond me. This show had a clever, original plot. And best of all, some very good music and even great guest appearances, Aimee Man, Ben Folds, James Blunt, LeAnn Rimes, etc. A show for people who love quality television as well as music. Bring the damn thing back or put it on another network.
I loved it!! The Music was great, awesome cast (Tom Cavanagh must have a show). It doesn't seem like the network gave it much of a chance. They should find a better slot, this is a really fun show.
I support Love Monkey. I do not support networks that are run by monkeys, green-lighting and canceling programs at the drop of a Nielsen survey. This is a quality show, witty and endearing. To cancel it after only three episodes is one of the most retarded programming decisions since, well, NBC canceling the Book of Daniel after 4 episodes last month.
I support this petition. This was a truly innovative show which used music and the business of music to tell interesting stories about young, hip people. It was fun to watch, and I especially wanted to see the episode involving the David Letterman show, which was slated to air next. Please bring it back.

This is a fantastic new show that has potential to be "real" music television - I might hear more new artists on this show than I would watching an hour of MTV or VH1! Good writing, characters that can be developed, and a lot of heart. And Nic Harcourt as co-producer - CBS's cool quotient just went up a notch!

I support this petition. This show was amazing. I still don't understand why they took it off. It had a great story going on. The cast was amazing. It was different. It wasn't like all the other shows that are on t.v. which made it even more inque.

This was the first major network TV episode that I ever did, and Tom was incredibly supportive. He made me feel so welcome and comfortable that I had the confidence to keep up with him. Thank God!

The only show I was getting set to watch on a weekly basis, and it's getting canned? Proof the world is spinning off it's axis. I would've supported the advertisers... but not now. I support this petition.

I was so disappointed when I heard about Love Monkey being cancelled after only 3 episodes...for once CBS had a good show and a lot of people enjoy it so why cancel it?!?!?! I mean its a brand new show and it just aired not too long ago. I think you people over at CBS definitely need to give it more time!!!!
