More 'Amazing Race', ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Sorry if the genre was a little tired (can't help if 'Friends' had a ridiculously long run) the theme of a record producer was refreshingly different. A great showcase for weekly guestspots by musicians either performing or giving two lines (Ben Folds) has been lost. And what a great new look at a classic David v. Goliath(not exactly the sneakiest writing) in the music industry angle. Im sorry CBS, you buckled to the market trend of reality and crime-drama. Another quality show down the drain.
I support this petition. I was happy to see a different type of show finally - not medical, not CSI or law in order, not reality tv - love monkey didn't even have a chance to show how good it was
I support this petition. This show is by far the class act of the "2nd" Season. I was pleasantly surprised to see CBS finally come up with a fresh hour of television, vice their usual CSI tripe. Besides 2 and Half Men, the only show I watched on this network.
I support this petition. It was one of my favorite new shows, and I am completely disappointed in CBS for cancelling it. Great leading man (Tom Cavanaugh), witty, and MUSIC, what else do you need? BOOOOO to CBS..this show was the only reason i tuned in to your network!
In a primetime schedule cluttered, even polluted with vapid mediocrity or blatant trash, I'm amazed that CBS would even consider deep-sixing quite possibly one of the most smartly written, original series aired this year.
In three short episodes, this show has already garnered a cult following, showcasing the talents of Tom Cavanagh, Judy Greer and Larenz Tate and the best non-mainstream music to grace a TV soundtrack.
Despite common misconception, some of the CBS primetime audience appreciates something new and refreshing, as opposed to tired, rehashed same-old same-old.
One more reason why I'll be watching another broadcaster in that timeslot, unless someone gets their act together, ducks in a row, or whatever it's going to take to put this season's most interesting new show back on the air.
I support this petition.
TV needs a few more shows like this. Entertaining and a bit of insight into an industry that needs all the help it can get. [music biz]
I support this petition. Good show that needs a chance to develop. Need something else on television that doesn't take place in a courtroom or a morgue.
I LOVED this show. I don't know who believes America is only interested in murder, law, and criminal investigations. Please give this smart witty show a chance. If you raise the bar, the viewers will come. Just as I began spreading the word, now my friends and I can't find it. Tom Cavanaugh is BRILLIANT! PLEASE, PLEASE KEEP THIS SHOW!!!
I support this petition. This show was hyped for over a month, and they didn't even let it have 3 consecutive weeks to bring in an audience. You would think with all the work they put into it they would give it a shot. What else would you expect from network executives.
I support this petition because i thought that teh show was fantastic! I really liked how they tied in music and it was funny and witty unlike many other cop shows. College kids would tune into this show for sure.
I support this petition. I guess CBS doesnt have time for all the CSI spinoffs if they have good shows on at 9 on tuesdays. Dont do this, CBS, you will regret it.
I support this petition because this was turning out to be a funny and witty show unlike other average shows coming on the tv all the time. Please bring it back.
This is a fantastic show, a High Fidelity-esque show with Kevin Smith sensibilities, don't leave us with only 3 episodes, this is a show for all the music geeks out there! Love the Monkey!!
I support this petition. I do not know what CBS was thinking there are alot of people that just started talking about this show you have to give it more than 3 episodes to make it.
Love Monkey was a great show about the music world, not just some dumb love story that people thought from the title,I think it was marketed wrong should have advertised his job which the show was really about not his search for love!
