this is for 6961 Puzzled I agree that others should stick to saving this show. but i also can see the point of what some are saying here about TC. It just seems so unfair to tom's lovely wife and that precious gift from God (his youngin) to just move them only to do a tv show that will bring him fame. Today parents need to keep an eye on their children and raising them correctly. This is not a one parent job this is two plus one must find a loving location to raise kids not one just because his ex lives there. Anyway I know that I myself am drifting from this topic of petition but I think what TC may be doing is awful just awful. He needs to think about others not himself or an ex! Anyway - there should be another petition in regards to that. ;)

6961 Puzzled -- PEOPLE are alowed to express their opinion here...SEEING that TOm Cavanagh stared in this show I would not think it would be SUCH a damn big deal about what is said. I FOR ONE...feel deeply sorry for Maureen. she seems so kind and all and is married to a selfish dude who may make her move to LA if that is where he goes. I think that is so wrong to move a family somewhere only cause of fame. NYC has plenty of opportunities for other "gigs" why move. SO i agree with brrrr and all the rest that is selfish and i never even thought of him being selfish till now.
AS for love monkey..it would have been a GOD SENT if CBS or even CW have kept that show. THAT way Tom would not have to move his family in such a selfish manner.

As I was skimming over this petition and I agree with the other poster who mentioned that it would be wrong for Tom to uproot his family just like that especially when he has a newborn of one month. I really hope that Love Monkey will be picked up by another network. I mean earlier it was looking very promising on the cw network and now we hear that it isn't.

My guess is that she did this so she can move to LA with tom so tom can get a hit pilot and forget about Love Monkey. Is a National Sales Mngr selfish for moving his family? How about a doctor moving to another hospital? Most people, men and women, move their family to where the work is. As several have said, Cavanagh's life is not the issue here. This isn't reality tv. Let's just try to get this quick witted, musically literate, show back. And if not, hopefully someone will hear that there is a market for more than "reality" tv and shows like My Name is Earl. First is really sucks that CBS never gave this show a chance, shit in my day they did give mid season shows a chance but now forget it. It is all about Reality TV SCREW THAT SHIT!
And about Tom, it is a free country if some feel that tom is selfish then maybe it is true. I have to agree with some that I would never move my family around like that especailly for selfish reasons such as fame an money.
Another note is that we all need to contact CW and ask "what the hell is their deal for not taking Love Monkey?"

This show was amazing, and was a great show that any big music fan could relate to. It is a shame that CBS cancelled this show, since I was about to call it my own. I got a few friends into it too. CBS, SHAME ON YOU.

I support this petition. I would be soooo dis-appointed if Love Monkey was cancelled! It is my favorite new show in many years. The story line's have been great, actors have been excellent and it is a smart and witty show.Great writing and i absolutely love the Idie feel of it. What is there not to like?? Really? CBS would lose what little respect I have for them if they cancel this show.

I was an extra in this one fight scene in his new show "The Love Monkey". and I had to pretend like i nearly spilled my drink after one of the actors storms passed me and pushes me out of the way. Tom kept complimenting me on every take and telling me "Man, that's so cool how you almost spill it but it stays in the glass", "that's the coolest thing I've seen on set all day". And so on lol. But he was def a nice guy and even said something to me later on about it again lol. But I enjoyed watching him in every scene he's really natural and has the ability to bring a scene to life
