One of the most creative shows to hit the airwaves in ages. It deserves time to build the following it will undoubtedly get. Think "Cheers" or "Mash", both unquestionable long term hits that took awhile to build a faithful following.
CBS has LOST it! This was the best show I've seen in a LONG time. The show wasn't even given a real chance to build a decent fan base within 3 episodes. Someone needs to have their head examined for totally jumping the gun on this one. I say another network needs to pick it up!
Well written and acted Love Monkey was a timely, entertaining break in the CSI/Law and Order dominated TV market. The first episodes were great ... what a concept! A smart kick in the ass in the general direction of the pop music industry. I'll miss it.
I did not think that I would like Tom Cavanaugh in the role - until I saw him. I loved the show and I am 54 years old! Great music, dialogue, actors made it real, etc. etc.

I support this petition. Love Monkey was a brilliant sitcom in a television world where good sitcoms are non-existent next to the Survivors and Amazing Races. I am extremely disappointed in CBS's knee-jerk reaction. I will miss seeing the characters and hearing the music from Teddy Greiger. I hope he does well in his music career. This was a very unique show.
WHY... HOW... I just do not understand why A show like this can be cancelled. First I loose Ed and now Tom.... I cannot take anymore. Howie Mandell, no matter how funny, can stand up there every week with his lame game show but .... IT JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENCE.
What can we do? Whatever it is... IM THERE! LET ME KNOW! I will sign or do whatever.

Well, all I can say is maybe CBS will come up with another pathetic forensic show like CSI: Yellowstone Park where park rangers solve the most complex of mysteries, or maybe Coast Guard CIS. Maybe the answer is another crappy reality show. Oh, oh I got an idea! Take some of the CBS Executives and send them to a "good" network, and let them "Apprentice" as clueless interns. Might make for good TV and maybe they will learn something. Unfortunately I have heard that Tom Cavanaugh has signed for another show. I hope it doesn’t air on CBS because I won’t see it as I have boycotted CBS. I’ll watch BBC instead.

Sigh. It never fails. Just when something inteeligent shows up on TV, it gets yanked. Does anyone remember Maximum Bob? Great show, just a bit too cerebral for Americans. Same thing here - I was just raving about the writing, saying how thrilled I was that it didn't suck (since I love TC so much, I wanted to love the show as well), and then it's GONE. Since it appears TC has already signed up for another show, looks like LM won't be back.... But I am signing this to voice my disgust in the decision and the sadness of "popular" TV.

What the heck?!?! This show is great. I am truly disappointed with CBS for stopping this without promoting it or giving it a chance. Instead we get dumb sitcoms and more CSI.
