MARISSA COOPER IS A GREAT CHARACTER AND WITHOUT HER THE SHOW WONT BE THE SAME. MISCHA IS ONE OF THE MAIN CHARACTERS AND IT´S IMPOSIBLE THAT SHE LEAVES THE SHOW , I WANT HER AND EVERYBODY WANTS HER, EVEN WHEN YOU LOVER HER OR HATE HER SO PLEASE LEAVE HER IN THE SHOW!!!
Please....The OC is the only reason i watch the fox network at all...the show will not be the same without Marissa...her and Ryan deserve at least a chance to say goodbye not like this....please don't let her be dead or fox will no longer be on my TV

I don't think it was very smart to kill her off. The show is going downhill. Even this past season was a bust. The first season was definetly the best. There has been too much drama and emotion it makes me sick. Just when you think everyone is happy and worked out most problems..another comes along. I understand the idea of a soapopera, but please its so fake. I love the show but a lot of the recent episodes have been a bust. I love the fantastic four and they are getting along well now even if they aren't dating each other. Don't kill the show like this. Marissa is silly to want to leave. She needs to make it a side project for her filming career.
marissa could easily be on a few episodes next season and have a happily ever after ending with ryan that would please everyone... why did they have to kill her off when she was leaving anyway?

I EXPECT IT FROM SHOWS LIKE 24 AND LOST, BUT FOR THE O-C TO KILL ONE OF THE FAB FOUR.. AND TO FOREVER CLOSE THE DOOR ON A RYAN-MARISSA REUNION, I FIND UNFORGIVABLE. I, FOR ONE, WILL NOT BE WATCHING WHAT USED TO BE MY FAVORITE SHOW. AND I KNOW A NUMBER OF OTHERS FEEL THE SAME.
I was hoping for a awesome finale, no douubt it was indeed awesome- in a really bad way! If i hated Marissa, i would think the ending was like a dream-come-through. But NO, Marissa is the best character of any show alive. So there you have it, losing fans. I don't see how Marissa can come back to live, but i think it was indeed a grave mistake. Honestly, I doubt i'll still watch oc. Maybe only after 4x01 or episodes that Mischa guest star in.

why would mischa want to leave the show? why would they get rid of the main character? i cant watch this show anymore, and since she died, wouldnt marissa have said soemthing profound like "i love you" instead of just like choking? this is queer. im not watching this show next year. it will change the dynamic of the show no matter what people say. its all downhill.
Marissa really made this show what it is. Without her character this show never would have made it off the ground. Loyal viewers deserve the satisfaction of knowing that she is still well and good. For many this has become more than a television show. These characters are close friends.
I am an older viewer, as many more of my friends my age. I've watched O.C. from day one, only missing one episode in three years due to a family illness. The show will never be the same without the hope of a return and reconciliation with her true love, Ryan. This will change everything permanently. With the death of Marissa, I probably will not be a return viewer next year, and I plan to express my personal feelings to everyone I know as well. Please allow Mischa Barton an opening with the possibility of her return.
Why did they have to kill her off? Can't she just go off on that ship for a season? Is it not supposed to be Ryan and Marissa no matter what?! She goes away on a boat for a season and comes back. They are the golden four! I am afraid that there will be no show if she does not return.
Josh please convice mischa to come back the OC won't be the same. We know you think it can but face it!! I loved the Ryan & Marissa!! The OC cn't be the same I am such a big fan I have OC Season 1 OC Season 2 and my friend if she ever gives it to me apparently had 0c Season 3!! You can't let this happen! Katilin will never be Marissa! And I hated it when ryan was with Lindsay,Theresa,Sadie,Chl oe they just weren't right for him!! WE NEED MARISSA BACK!! WE NEED HER BACK!!
