Because the oc won't be the same without the Ryan/Marissa pairing. I have watched from day one, and it is still throwing me for a loop that it ended this way
There's probably no point to this since you can't easily bring the dead back to life, but The OC will suck without Marissa and I will no longer be watching it when she was the only reason I wasted time on it to begin with.
Marissa was my favorite character on the show and has been ever since the beginning. I am obsessed with Ryan and Marissa as a couple and they are the reason that I am signing this, I just can't give in to the fact that there is no longer anyway that they can be together anymore. Please bring Marissa back!
Mischa is the only reason I watched the O.C. I wanted her and Ryan to end up together sooooooooooo bad. When she died, a piece of myself died with her. Mischa, if you read this, please reconsider. Without you, I will never again watch the show that has brought me so much heartache and happiness over the years.
Support this petition because I want to still see Mischa Barton in "the o.c.", why "the o.c. without she nn it would be the same thing and why it is my preferred attrice.
The show won't ever be the same without Marissa. She makes the show, even if she is on a boat in Greece and not in the episodes, she is still alive and that will keep me watching, nothing else.
But isn't it Micha that didn't want to be on the show anymore. I guess we shouldn't be sending this to the producers but to her? I understand that Micha didn't want to be known for as being a braty tennager thats into drugs and other stuff like that. So we really got to ask this question to those who are about to sign, is it more immportant that we want her to be on the show or that she doesn't?
because killing Marissa is also killing Ryan and Marissa, one of the best TV couples ever. It's cruel and unfair and i will NOT watch the show next year.
I think this is a travisty it's not fare at all. Micha's character wasn't even like comfortable in her own skin it was as if she was casted away and put to the side. I DON'T INTEND TO WATCH THE NEXT SEASON UNLESS THIS SITUATION CHANGES!

I don't think the show will be the same with out Marissa Cooper. Marissa and Ryan were the main reasons to watch this show, and i don't think i will continue to watch with out Marissa.
I own all the DVDs of The OC, The CD Mixes, Books, Calendars and when Marissa died... I felt like I lost a best friend and I didn't even know the woman. She was my favorite character! The Next Season is gonna suck without her plus Caitlyn Cooper is a loser and nobody would watch her when you have Grey's Anatomy and CSI on at the same time next fall. So, FOX be ready to have suck ratings.
Me and my 64 friends that all watch the oc here at our dorm are mad. You dont kill off a star, please make it a bad dream, or have Ryan give her cpr and bring her back. Its fine to send her away, but dont kill her. The episode on the ferris wheel sticks out, and I really dont think I can watch any of the old episodes anymore, kowing this happens. We all talked about it after the episode last night, and if Marissa is in fact Dead, we are out as OC fans. You just can do it to us like that, this is a very bad PR move, please fix it. I love the oc, and dont want to have to boycot it.

Because there is no The OC without Marissa. Some people may think she is whiney and bratty but I never thought that. She was going through a lot of hard stuff ever since the show started. Plus, Ryan loves Marissa still and they need to be together. I hope she is just in a coma or something because I love The OC more than anything in the world and if Marissa and the fab four aren't there then it won't be the same. You can't get rid of Marissa Cooper and you can definately NOT replace her with Kaitlin. PLEASE DON"T KILL HER!!!

The character Marissa does not deserve to die. If Mischa Barton wants to leave the show let her but leave her character open to new drama in case she decides to return if things are not working out! MARISSA WILL LIVE FOREVER
