The show sucks without Ryan and Marissa. And with Marissa dead, there is no Ryan and Marissa. Therefore, Josh and all writers, you have made a huge mistake.

PLEASE keep Marissa don't let her die! I mean the writers can think of a good way to let her stay alive like they do on soap operas where a person we thinks is dead really isn't! PLEASE just write her going to Greece!
omg yeah i no! i watched the oc last night when marissa died and the show isnt goin to be as good without her! she made the series interesting .. i think mischa barton should go back to the OC

Three years we have invested in her and b/c the creators simply needed a big final they murdered her. They could've just let her go on her world cruise.

ther is NO OC without MARISSA...she STARTED IT ALL...many people i know ill not watch it without her on it...PLEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAASSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEE EE BRING HER BACK...even if she lives in Hawaii with Jimmy-let her at least be ALIVE and we hear from her every now and then....DON"T KILL HER-there needs to be RYAN & MARISSA-together on the show-like season 1...and kinda 2!!!! BRING HER BACK>>>LET HER BE ALIVE BY SOME MIRACLE ON THE FIRST EPISODE OF THE FOURTH SEASon...she may have gone through a lot...but that's what kept the show INTERESTING. Without her, seson 4 will be the last season...and i hope there probably WILL NOT be ENOUGH viewers to let the whole fourth season air....
The show will die if the character of marissa dies. I wont watch, and i don't know of anyone who's interested in where the show is now headed. This is coming from someone who has actually lived in the OC for 19 years. FOX needed to make a large offer to Mischa to keep her around...bad move
What'll happen if there is no Marissa Cooper? Who'll be Ryan Atwood's love? nothing and nobody! this show'll go down the drain, and I refuse to watch it if there isn't a Marissa!
I have watched the O.C since the first episode faithfully (with a little help from my TiVo) and I cannot believe you would kill of Marissa. I realize that Mischa Barton no longers wishes to be on this show, but I hope that you realize the O.C will never be the same and I'm almost positive that Season 4 will be the last season of the O.C. The first season was excellent, the second was alright, and this year, the O.C was terrible - but I couldn't just stop watching it. I felt as if all the characters had done everything in their life that was possible - stolen cars, done pot, overdosed on drugs, gotten all the lovely presents they could've ever wanted, beat up kids, and gotten into as many love triangles as possible. The O.C has no plot line and is going no where. I know you can't "bring back" Marissa, but I believe it was a poor decision on your part.
