I DISAGREE WITH HER BEING DEAD AND I THINK ITS A BIG MISTAKE AND SHE AOUGHT TO BE IN A COMA AND BE PREGNANT BY VOLCHECK AND HE GET ON DEATH ROW FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER AND DOESNT DIE
- ok, mischa wanted 2 leave the show and that meant the character had 2 leave 2. Killing her off was a bit extreme but kinda necessary because the oc really need sumthing big 2 end this season seeing as it was so bad! However if they do not sho,w sum kind of funeral 4 her character in season 4 i will stop watching because u cannot just kill off a main character and end it like that! I know every other season has carried on the new season from the end of the summer but if they do not record scenes from after marissa's death, u will hav sum major pissed off oc fans!
Marissa is my favorite charactor, and when she died it was almost like apart of me died, i look up to her and i'm sure alot of other viewers did to, if i watch a sad episode of the oc i am sad and if i watch a happy one i am happy, the oc is a big part of my lifwe, it is almost like i am living in the oc, if you take away marissa then i think there will be less viewers. Me and my sister pretend like we are the characters ! most of my conversations are about how great marissa is and how much i want to be her ! so please put her back on the oc !
I suppor this petition not because I want Marissa back from the dead, but because I think it should have been handeled in a better way. They should have had her just go sailing. There is no OC without Marissa and I truly believe that The OC will suffer next season.
Marissa need to stay on. If she leaves the show will completely go downhill. She was such a good actress and she should and needs to stay on the show until the end. Please have her stay on. do this for her fans and for all of the OC fans. If she really did die then there is no chance for the show to even increase in popularity. so i suggest you do whatever is possible to get her to stay on the show.Please do this!
Okay, well I don't support this very much. As dramatic and realistic the producers of this show they want it to be, you cannot bring someone back to life. This isn't Charmed. Oh, you will plea to the grim reaper and they will bring her back to life? uhh, no. If you want this show to be hardcore reality with drama, don't put in the fantasy fantasmo garbage. Because that will just make the show stupid, and it will really ruin the whole thing.
I love Mischa barton, but come one, she doesn't want to be on the show, and it's too late to undo the show now, and you cannot bring her backt o life.

if Mischa wants an acting career, i totally understand. but please dont just KILL her off! i mean while shes with her dad sailing or whatever [in the show] she could be out making movies [in real life] like she wants to. OMG I so suport this petition.I love marrisa.Josh made a huge mistake killing her.I'm never watching the oc again unless they come back next season and she is just in the hosptial.And the character still has to be played by mischa or i'll quit watching again!
I support this petition because how can you have a main character leave the show and expect for it to go on. For 3 years the a large part of the show was about Ryan, Marissa, Seth and Summer, with a character missing will be the end of something great!
Marissa was my favorite character and i really want her to be on the oc still. I watch the oc like every day on dvd, if it is a sad episode, i am sad that day, if its a happy episode i am happy, the oc means alot to me and now that marissa isnt on it, its almost like apart of me is gone. I think keeping marissa on the oc will keep veiwers watching, alot of people look up to her, and i am one of those people!

Marissa was my favorite character and if Marissa dies then I'm done with the show. The only reason I watched were because of R/M! The O.C isn't going to be the same without Mischa Barton so please don't let Marissa die =)

I totally agree! The OC will NEVER be the same without marrisa! i watched week after week wanting her and ryan to get back together. she was my favourite character and just thinking about the fact that her and ryan will never be together and that she is completely off the show makes me soo mad. without her oc is doomed.

The show sucks without Ryan and Marissa. And with Marissa dead, there is no Ryan and Marissa. Therefore, Josh and all writers, you have made a huge mistake.
