alright, so heres the deal. you're shows ratings are going to go down the toliet now that mischa's gone. she's been through so much, yea, i agree with her. and just because theres nothing left for her to go through doesn't mean that you can just END her life. i mean, cmon what was wrong with her just "going away" for a while. i mean, cmon, that would have been JUST fine. now all these little girls (including me) get to watch the oc& not see their role model and favorite character. so thanks alot, i hope you know what you did. &mischa, we'll miss you dearly.

As of right now, I do not plan to watch the OC next season if Marissa Cooper is not on it. I am a huge Ryan and Marissa fan and without them together, I won't be able to watch!
Ever sence my cousin got me into watching the OC my favorite caracter had be Marissa. Mischa Barton became my favorite actress and I watched the finale episde of the 3rd seson i cried all night. Every girl in my school watches the OC. we love it. but now more than half of the girls are not going to watch next season because the show wont be the same without marissa so you have to bring her back on the show because before you no in your show will be canceled all because of one stupid disison. SO BRING HER BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have never felt so sad about a fictional character dying...i felt just as bad as when people I love get hurt or die. Please bring Marissa back, if not on every episode, at least in the knowledge of the characters.
Marissa should not have been killed! Not only am I unhappy that she died, but the fact that there was no final love between Ryan and Marissa made me so angry. When she is introduced in season 1 and throughout the entire show so far, the bond between those 2 is undeniable. If she must stay dead atleast make her exit admirable and loving. And P.S. I will hate anyone who Ryan is not paired with, he mines as well leave the show too.
Mischa has progressed as an actress tremendously since the first season of the oc, and to kill off her character now is a real tradgedy! marissa cooper was what brought drama to the oc, and without her rating will surely fall. BRING HER BACK
because I do not want to see the character of Marissa Cooper killed off of the show. She is one of the original characters we all fell in love with when the show began 3 years ago. It would have been better to have her ‘leave’ in a different way, but not death. That way there is always an option for an appearance. I think I am still in shock over the finale. I will watch the upcoming season to see what happens. How long I will watch it will all depend on the storyline. I hope it does not go down the hill, because I, like so many other over the globe, am addicted to the show even before it aired. I could not wait for it to come on when I saw the previews. I knew I would love it. I agree with the others, it will not be the same without her character. Usually when a main character is removed from a show, the storyline drops off. With the arrival of new characters, it is usually awkward because we are so used to the main characters and their connections they have with each other. I understand there may be reasons for her not wanting to be on the show anymore, or maybe other problems relating to the show or even personal life, but if she is truly gone, she will be highly missed by many!!
I will not continue watching the show and neither will 90 of those who are signing this petition ... Josh you are going to lose money and the show is going to die, you have to bring Mischa back, it's the best thing to do...and you know it!
