Making a main character die just makes the show look soooo cheesy and soap opera like and not a well written good show. BRING BACK THE TONE OF SEASON ONE!!!!! simple, addictive,fun, witty, unique, not mainstream
because she is Ryans soulmate, and she is my favorite character of the show, and she have a lot more to give, I would licke that they take her off for just 1 or 2 seasons but let Marissa open for a future story line.
I do support this petition because I have been watching this show from its early beginnings and to me Marissa is one of the main and most important character nand Mischa Barton has done a terrific effort to potray her character just to end up killed in a stupid car accident, I live in Colombia and I really love the OC but I lost a bit of interest since she was my favourite character PLEASE BRING HER BACK!!!!!!!

micha barton/marissa cooper should stay because she is one of the main characters. im sadd/madd because now there will be no more "fab four" [ryan, marissa, seth, and summer]. its supposed to be ryan and marissa / seth and summer together forever!
please, im begging you, let her go back!!! the OC is my favoraite show and i would be very sad if someone died, left, or change a person.
I support this petition because I don't see The O.C. continuing into a 5th season without Mischa Barton. At least keep her with guest appearances. If she wanted to move onto new things, she could still make time to come onto the set once in a while.
marissa can't be dead at any cost! please cant you put her in a coma and have her wake up and then she decides to leave to meet up with her dad and go for good? thats a better ending!
what were they thinking when they toke marrisa off the show did they think it was funny well i did not . i am so so so so made at the proudecers for doing that to the viwers. with out the viwers there would be no OC. the next season is going to be the werst season ever GET RIDE OF KATLYN. make her go and feed china or go back to bording school. its soposed to be the fantastic 4 Ryan, Marrisa,Seth and Summerkill Marrisa kill the show. this is what i think should happen on the Oc after the car crash ryan should bring Marrisa to the doctor there marrisa should do bad at first to give the viwers some supence. then she will get better. Seth and summer should be doing well in there relinship. julie and nail should get married at the end of the season . but in the beggining of the season when marrisa is going better sandy should have a hartatack thus killing him. what should kill him is the stress from the newport group. that means kirsten will go back to her old habbits(drinking).
