OC can't go on without marissa! I love the whole cast, but they have to stay together! otherwise it would just be weird and empty! :( AND I love the marissa and ryan moments! they can't be over for good!
Marissa & Ryan were close to young loves in real life. It always gave hope that they may get back together. You could see it that they still loved eachother, as first loves never die. Unfortunately, you let her..literally. The show will NOT be the same without Mischa, and I for sure will not watch it, nor buy the third season cause of the ending. It's heartbreaking and not worth it.
She can't be dead... OC is the best but it will be so empty without her! she just has to return ALIVE at the next season! OC is so much about marissa and MARISSA & RYAN... they belong together! they HAVE to end up together! marissa come back!
Marissa was a central character to the show, and Ryan and Marissa were the main couple. You can not expect me to watch after you completely disrespect the fans by giving them hope and then taking it away.
She can go!! Merrissa made what the OC is. Unless Merrissa is back on the OC I can't she any reason for watching it. And whern you get her back on you need to have her hook up with Ryan and have 'um get married!!
I support this petition totally there are thousands of people out there who arent watching the oc because marissa is dead. that is a stupid and dumb thing to die her off the show we all know shes the main charachter and little kids look up to her and preteens; dying her off the show just ruined everything
I can't believe they took the core 4 away!I am so upset over this. I really don't care to watch anymore.They didn't even give us and I LOVE YOU to Ryan or anything.
This is crap, I will not watch the show without her being alive. I mean I was upset about the possibility of her going with her father sailing. But I knew there was always a possibility that she would be back!!!!

I think everyone can agree in saying that over the course of season3 Marissa really developed into a great character and really grew on us. I don't think it was very fair to kill her off because she was part of the main 4 and by killing off a HUGE character is a stab in the back. Not just for her but with all her fans too. The way you sent her out was unfair to everyone involved and everyone who watches the show.
This is just like the shark jumping episode on hapy days........bring Marissa back to life, use her as a possible guest star, or loose your show, and dvd sales.
Marissa needs to come back. The relationship between her and Ryan was so crucial to the development of the show. I'm scared that I wont watch next season if she's not a part of it.
You can't kick one of the main 4 off! Kill off Volcheck instead! You could have had a much longer storyline with Marissa in there. Please bring her back!:(
i support this petition because killing off marissa and starting next season with her sister is about as pointless as bringing back laguna beach for a 3rd season and using LC's little sister. i'm not watching the show anymore and it was my favorite show
I can't believe that you would kill Marissa off. Almost every issue on this show can relate to her, due to her unconditional-loving relationships with everyone. No matter how bad people let her down, she never holds it against them. What will Ryan do? Their relationship is such an important thread in the tapestry that is "The OC." I'm afraid that what Mischa brings to this show while playing Marissa is so unique and the formula just won't work without her or her character. Even if you just wanted her to be a guest star, that'd be okay, but there is so much left to do with her. I'm afraid I will not watch "The OC" next year if Marissa and Mischa aren't a part of it. Bring her back!
Marissa Can´t die,common even Ryan is the main characther without Marissa he wouldn´t be nothing.Did you ever guys thought(Oc producers)that Marissa is what makes the story,if you guys don´t have her...who is gonna get in trouble,who Ryan is gonaa save?Who is gonna be the most troubled and cool girl ever?!
And it´s to darn typical when she is becoming a good girl, getting alogn with her mom,when she is going to see her dad and her sister is back in town and finally talking to Ryan again you guys kill her!
