Marissa needs to stay .. if she is not on thsi show .. the show can only go downhill .. josh might as well pack his bags and end his carrerr .. marissa needs to be alive .. I LOVE RYAN AND MARISSA TOGETHER !
If you know whats good for your show josh, you'd bring her back. You got your shocking ending, you got people talking about it. Now shock us even more by letting her live. You may get a few mad viewers for doing that but trust me- the MAJORITY will most definitely be leaving and boycotting The OC. What the hell is the point of watching this show when you've killed off not only Marissa; but Ryan and Marissa. As well as Summer. You call yourself a great writer? Couldv'e fooled me.
i think marrisa was a troubl echarachter. he has the rieght bo grow up and be a fnastastic woman. i hate hte shows who kill the charhacters who feel lost in life like marissa. she was young, sha ahd the right to grow up. and i hate kaytlyn cooper
there will be no show with out marissa! If you couldn't think of anything for her character then why didn't you just have her go away on the boat with her father and that way she could still be able to make guest appearances...now that she is DEAD she can never come back...there was SOO much future for Marissa!!! You just lost a DEVOTED viewer! WHAT A SHAME!!
the Marissa-Ryan storyline is one of the founding axis of the show. Ripping it away, for me at least, and apparently for all others who signed this petition, will damage the show beyond repair. Mr. Schwartz, bring her back before it's too late, or you'll lose at least one viewer...(and probably many more)
I know the OC is just a t.v. show but I just feel really disrespected as a result of Marissa's death. The show represents an important part of people's lives for the past 3 years and they shouldnt have just killed her off. Im a soap fan so i've seen all kinds of character exits because of contract disuptes and other issues. It's clear to me that writers on soaps at least have some respect for the basic foundation of certain shows.
because the oc is not the same and not worth watching without marissa. R/M were meant to be and Ryan is never going to love somebody the way he loved her.
OMGOMGOMG !!!! i cant believ it ! i cried my eyes out when she died, that was a huge mistke to kill her off beczuse with out Marrisa the show is NOTHING ! and i bet alot of ppl are not going to watch it now because shes gone, and then the rateing will plummit and thats not good.............. so i think i speak for like every single person here when i say BRING BACK MARRISA PLLLZZZZ!!!
marissa was pretty much my favourite character on the show. and now that shes dead the show wont be the same and it will be rather boring probably. bring marrisa cooper back! this is my favourite show, and marrissa & ryan was like one of the main reasons why i watch it cause they are meant to be. bring her back dont ruin the show. the ratings will go down and it will be cancelled. please and thank ya .
If what I read is treue, and Mr. Schwartz was actually responsible for killing off her character for a lack of future storylines, I am ashamed. The OC has been my favorite show since it began and I was upset and angered by the finale.Ig Mischa chose to leave on her own accord that it one thing. But for the show to right her out intentionally is absurd. I fear that he just ruined the show.
