kill off ryan kill off seth kill off sandy anyone except Marissa you damn producers don't realize the show is nothing without Marissa Cooper so please talk some sense into eachother and for heavens sake bring marissa back
because I like the character of Marissa Cooper and her Love to Ryan Atwood. This is what makes the show important. When Marissa die, the true Love between Ryan and Marissa is definitely over. I hope with the surviving of Marissa I would like to say for the next season " I love to watch The OC"!!!! Please!!!

WHy would you kill of a main character? regardless if she wanted to leave, just keep her alive and boost your ratings every once and a while that you want her back. The show will croak without her, you have until the fall to make the right decision, sincerely a concerned longtime OC fan.
killing her off was the WORST descison ever made on the show.! i cant even watch the 1st or 2nd seaons on dvd anymore because i know that she is dead! please bring her back and make the fans happy again =]
i couldn't believe my eyes, when i read an article about this.. why should anyone want marissa dead? no one right in his/her head could want this for real.. i mean, it's marissa! she's the drinker, the suicider, the psycho.. i love her!
I support this petition because marissa can leave without being dead! have her go off with her dad or something! i have religiously tuned in to this show to have it end like this so figure out some way to have her recover and go with her dad or something!
If she dies then so does the show.
She is more than a central character she is one of the four foundations of the show. Take Sandy, god damn it even take Julie(my second favourite) if you must bet please don't kill marissa and therefore the show
Marissa Cooper is a main character. You cannot kill off the main character in the middle, either you kill him/her of at the end or not at all. It's as if J.K. Rowling had killed Harry Potter in the 2° volume and continued on 5 other books without him ... it just dosen't make sense. And I won't continue watching without her.
