i support this petition because i used to be completely OBSESSED with the show. I had a six foot wall filled with pitures of the show, t-shirts, music, i even made my mom take me to newport beach. After the season 3 finale, when Marissa died, i swore to myself and everyone that i will NEVER EVER EVER watch the show ever again. this is true, and i know all my friends and many others have been turned off because of marissa's death.
It isn't fair, and the show will basically suck unless the producers find some way to bring marissa back from the dead. i am prettty sure i HATE the show without marissa.
She doesn't HAVE to be dead - if you want to round out the character have her go off on the boat and Julie can get regular "updates" about how much she is getting it together - THAT would be good TV Most of us want characters to evolve as the years pass

this show cannot be without her! she was getting better, she was turning her life around and now u cut it short? where is the sense in that? if uthink this will increase ratings...then ur wrong cos i for1 will not be watching and im sure plenty of ppl feel the same way as i do
Because I do not support senseless,and violent deaths inflicted upon teenagers for entertainment purposes.Marissa could have easily gone to Greece, and the finale would've been significant and emotional.
Without Marissa, ratings will go down. As much as I want the show to be able to do what they want, I know for the well-being of The OC, she MUST stay alive. Have her go away on the boat... Give the fans SOMETHING to hold on to. Don't rip everything away from us.

marissa was there since the beging so she sould stay till the end. you need the ryan and marissa in the oc. Even tought it is the best show ever you still need mischa barton (marissa cooper) on the show. MARISSA MUST COME BACK!
ryan just cant be with anyone else. earlier in the show if he is with sum1 else its just seen as an obstacle for ryan and marissa to overcome. we need mischa barton!
OC will have no meaning without the team of 4. Ryan will have no story and seth and summer are meant for eac other so marissa gives the twists...oliver, johnny, julie cooper and luke. caleb
u cant have marissa dying her character still has alot to offer like having her sober and trauma free for once. josh alienated her character but we dont want to be without her so bring her back please
