If Mishca ever sees this Ijust want you to know that if you really WANT to leave the show then PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE just stay for a couple episodes next season, and make it something like you being in a coma, and waking up a few weeks later. Then Marissa can head off to the boat with Jimmy and not be seen until you want to bring her back! ALL I WANT IS THIS! If Marissa Cooper dies of this show- i must say I AM DONE! this show is over w/o Mishca! The core four is what it is and Taloyr Townsend CANT replace Marissa, shes too beloved. If it is the showriters fault then I'm sure you can work something out, oyu have been a faithful cast memeber for three seasons!
If in first episode of the season 4 Marissa do not come back by a miracle (with Ryan near her hospital bed) I do not watch to the movie anymore, and The O.C. loose many fans.
a good portion of this show has always been a focus on the "on again/off again" romance between Marissa and Ryan. The show will not be the same without her and Season 4, should most like be the show last Season, just to wrap things up.
i support this petition this is pure bullshit! she's one of the most interesting characters they had to make it so sad why did they kill her and why did they have to show it (her)like that they know how to make people scared and sad over there! a character like hers doesn't deserve to die especially like that!! uhhh fuckers!!!! not fair!!!
I'm an Italian fan and I want say that it's is the wrong solution to increas the rating, here in Italy too, where many fans are very disappointed!...at this point it was better closed The Oc...Sorry for my imperfect english!
You guys are morons! The O.C will crash and burn because of this. You'll have your ratings for this season, and maybe a few episodes of the new one, but in time people won't watch unless you find a way to bring her back...put her in a coma and have her come out of it...do something! Otherwise-bye-bye O.C. You guys had way too many bad things happen to her. She never got to be with the guy she loved, her dad left, one of her best friends died, she O.D'ed...well you know. When you think of it, the girl had a pretty miserable last three years of her life. Way to go A-holes.
I am deeply hurt that Marssa was killed off the show. I cried for a good half hour if not more. I have loved this show since it came on the air but sadly, i dont think i will be watching it anymore. you the producers say that you want to change things next season so that the ratings go back up but killing of marissa cooper was the worst thing you could have done. at least you could have kept her alive and off with her dad so at least mischa could have done a few guests spots like tate donovan or ryan's mom. but no you had to kill her off. i sadly will not be watchin the show next season unless ambulances came to the scene and brought marissa back to life
marissa should be kept on the show becuase she is a big part of the o adn if she goes or ied no one will really watch the show ebcause she is that big!!!!.....SAVE HERRRR
How can the show be the same with one of the main 4 killed? I would feel the same way if it were Ryan, Seth or Summer as well. The show will take a major nose dive with this one, they need to bring her back.
