MSNBC on XM extends my morning news shows by an hour as I continue listening on my drive to work. I consider this time an important part of my daily news and information schedule. Please reconsider.
I'm an XM subscriber and I don't want XM to determine which news stations I can listen to and which I can't. Please keep ALL the news networks available. I love Keith Olbermann and the news reports.
because XM should listen to the people paying for the service. I'm grateful that XM Radio exists at all. I'm not sure what data is being used to calculate who listens to what, but I'd like to have my voice heard - like many others I am sure. And then maybe there would be many changes to make - like dumping channels that truly have few listeners. A survey could be mailed out to customers, or emailed to them, to get everyone's votes?
because MSNBC provides the most thoughtful and comprehensive news presentation among all the current players and it's availability was the reason I chose XM over Sirius...plus I love Olbermann too! Please don't give us this BS excuse that we're running out of channels or something.
Unless XM is to replace the channel with a superior news service, such as NPR programming, including All Things Considered and Morning Edition, or an additional C-SPAN audio feed, I do not see the reason for dropping MSNBC.
I dropped my Sirius account last winter and signed up with XM specifically because XM offered both MSNBC and Fox News (at a time when Sirius had dropped Fox). I am personally very unhappy with XM's decision to drop MSNBC and I am considering cancelling my account. I can listen to music for free, but XM is the only way to listen to MSNBC when I'm in my car.
Hardball is a fixture on my evening commute. With so much of the sports programming available on AM radio, why are you picking on a reliable news source??
If MSNBC is pulled then I pull my XM subscription. While traveling the country by car we need a variety on news channels. We need more news channels, not less!!!
I beg you XM to nut pull this channel. You already have two Fox/Republican stations and MSNBC is the only place I have found first class news programs (Hardball, The Countdown) with a more left leaning approach.
As an XM subscriber, I have preset a button for MSNBC. It is the sat news channel I choose to listen to, and without it, XM will just be about music for me. I'll go back to over-the-air radio for news and talk. Now that I can use my ipod in the car for music, I might not pay the bill for XM without MSNBC.
XM's News Channels should be as good as XM's Music Channels are. For us, MSNBC is one more reason to subscribe to XM instead of switching to your competition. Please reconsider this decision and continue to build XM into the great service we all want it to be.

the only reason I subscribe to XM is the access Keith Olbermann on MSNBC (I don't want to sit in front of the tv every night) and with Dan Patrick on ESPN in the afternoon. Its all about Keith. He goes away, I drop XM. Duh!
MSNBC's fast-paced prime time lineup is a great distraction from sitting in traffic. Outside of Primetime, I do not listen to MSNBC, but that block alone is worth saving it.
because I love catching Hardball on my commute home from work. I am EXTREMLY angry with XM for cancelling MSNBC. MSNBC is the reason I signed up for XM in the first place.
If I want right wing talk I will switch to other radio, if I want realist talking I will listen to msnbc. If you take progressive off and leave right wing on.Good bye
I support this petition because MSNBC is one of the main channels I listen to. I also think XM is drifting too far to the right. Enough FOX, conservative talk.
msnbc provides a great service to the public, if i were to take satallite radio this would be a priority for me. hope you will re-consider you intent to drop this important programing.
Please keep MSNBC on XM. I dearly love my XM and MSNBC. I am often traveling on weekends and only get to hear Meet the Press over XM as I drive home - no time to watch in the morning. I listen to Keith Olbermann on the way home every evening. Please make room for MSNBC.
At a time when the media's role in politics and policy is just begining to be fully grasped, it is VERY important not to silence a valuable (though far from perfect) source of information and opinion.
Please keep MSNBC. If I'm not at home, I can keep up with my news shows like Countdown with Keith Olbermann. If you need to remove something, how about Fox News?
I am appalled XM would drop MSNBC.Please reconsider. If you have had little feedback, it's because subscribers don't realize this is about to happen. I have 2 radios and am responsible for 8 other family members choosing XM over Sirius. None of us will be happy if this goes through. I subscribed for this type of radio, not Fox and/or baseball.
Please do not drop MSNBC ! XM Radio is all we getin rural Windthrop, WA. We love Keith Obermann and Hardball. Oh it would be such a loss...Elections are coming up !! are you NUTS !
