I have 3 accounts and am very upset over your decision to drop MSNBC and to limit Ed Schult to one hour a day. Why in the hell do you need to carry channels like Shaun Hannity that has found hundred terrestial stations and drop shows that can not be obtained in the car by any other method except satellite? I will probably drop my subscriptions and go to Sirius if this decision is not changed.
I am a subscriber with 4 radios on my account. The availability of MSNBC was an important part of my decision to choose XM over Sirius. With the upcoming election season, it is important to me to have Hardball and Countdown available. This was unique content for XM and I may have to reconsider my choice if this decision is allowed to stand.
Because the only reason I chose XM over Sirius was that you carried MSNBC and they didn't. Please don't do away with my only access to MSNBC while I am in my car.
Please do not drop my MSNBC!
There are many XM subscribers who, like me, listen to Keith Olbermann.
Largely due to the fact we can't stand to watch him.
I hate to give up Olbermann's Countdown & Chris Matthew's Hardball and Meet the Press on the weekends.
MSNBC accounts for about 25% of my XM listening.
because I enjoy knowing that even if I have to work late or be away from a TV, I can still listen to Olbermann. Please don't take MSNBC away. It's one of the few services that makes XM stand out from Sirius (the other one being the incredible "IT"!).
MSNBC is regular viewing and listening in our household. On the day the suspect in the JonBenet Ramsey was taken into custody, we were traveling across three states. Their information and insight was far superior to the other choices we had. Please keep MSNBC on XM!!
How can you take off the NBC News carrier on satellite radio? It doesn't make sense. It's bad enough that we don't get NBC or CBS radio news via satellite radio. Now you take off our 24 Hour NBC News. Whoever is responsible should know that CNN and FOX News should not be the only sources of news on XM. FOX claims it's not biased, but we know the score. You need MSNBC on XM. XM and MSNBC should work this out.
MSNBC is a distinctive news channel. HARDBALL, IMUS and Olbermann are some of the strongest shows on cable ( and radio). Don't deprive us! It would be a travesty! Martha/TN
because I listen to Countdown & Hardball daily and love Keith Olbermann. If XM drops MSNBC, I will drop XM. I got XM to listen to talk radio - not music - and I will not pay for a service that keeps right wing FOX and cancels MSNBC.
If your decision is entirely your decision, then please reconsider. MSNBC does a better job of providing breaking domestic news than either CNN or Fox, which have host-based show-oriented programming. Its format translates better on radio (for those of us who spend endless hours in the car) than either competitor. Plus, Olbermann is funny. But if this wasn't entirely your decision, please have the transparency to say so. Keep MSNBC.
because MSNBC is the main news channel that I watch on television and I like being able to get the same programming on my radio. This is the only news channel that I listen to on XM don;t take it away.
Because MSNBC is the only news channel that is right down the middle, compared to Fox's conservative leanings, and CNN's liberalism. The news is also well done, compared to CNN. Please do not take MSNBC off XM, because it is a very informative channel to have on the road.
MSNBC on XM was a great way for me to pass almost 12 hours on the road one day. I would hate to see it go. I might consider canceling my XM service if they let go of MSNBC.
I enjoy listening to Hardball every evening. It will be sorely missed. Being able to listen to TV programming as I commute to and from work is the biggest reason I subscribe to XM Radio.
I support this petition. Hardball consistently brings in guests that are on point. I will drop XM if MSNBC goes. I understand ratings driven radio but unless they bring in an additional politics station that is not biased rantings and ravings (i.e. Fox vs. Air America) MSNBC is the best format to do that. I only use XM for the news and sports information. I'm not certain that they couldn't do a better job of combining their music offerings (yeah that's you 50's and Broadway shows channels I'm talking to) to open up more bandwith. It will be a true disappointment if MSNBC is dropped. Although if Sirius has it, I'll go get one of those.
