I totally support this petition. I will consider dropping xm if they go through with this. I, too, am a Hardball, Olberman listener. What's next? Taking AIR AMERICA OFF? Come on! For goodness sakes. Leave MSNBC on XM.
When channels are abundantly availabe the national news channels are a easily worthy of a spot. You should keep them just because you have the space because when something important happens people will always go to the news channels. For the company (XM) to favor one or the other is just unamerican
I will not renew in Sept if MSNBC is dropped. If you frop Fox I will get 10 friends to sing up or renew. nO REALLY BUT i WILL NOt RENEW IF YOU DROP msnbc
Please keep MSNBC, it is the main reason I have XM radio. I am a Political Science major and I have found MSNBC to be the most even-biased network news station. I listen to it on a constant basis so does my husband and our friend. PLEASE KEEP MSNBC!!!
MSNBC is the only news channel I listen to. I just moved to a new location without cable but was glad to still be able to hear MSNBC on SM. Now nothing...
MSNBC is one of only two stations we listen to on XM.
We are in the country and depend on XM for news. We have three accounts. If MSNBC is dropped, we'll drop XM.
I am driving home when I listen to MSNBC on radio. I am considering cancellation of XM radio. MSNBC is what I listen to most of the time I am in the car. I support the petition totally.
I need MSNBC on XM Radio for my job! I work for a car service for MSNBC and the guests who are on the show listen to the programming to ensure they are up to date on what's being said!! PLEASE KEEP MSNBC!
Unbelievable that you would drop the best political coverage in the nation by losing Chris Mathews and Keith Olberman. Movers and shakers in DC and state capitols all over the country count on them for their political fix. They are not just news but interpreters of the news. They force people to speak forthrightly. You might lose me and my five subscriptions over this. What fools you are becoming!!!!
...I support this petition because I listen to MSNBC on my drive in and drive home from work each day. It is the one news station of any great value on XM. I have four subscriptions to XM, and we are all listeners of MSNBC. XM may be losing customers if they actually do this.
What is XM doing? Changing talk radio schedules and now getting rid of MSNBC! This is a major news network. Are you guys idiots or what? Chris Matthews and Keith Oberman are major players in the news world. Should I drop XM now????
MSNBC, which was not available on Sirius, was the reason I chose XM over Sirius in the first place. The single deciding factor. Without XM, Sirius, with it's better NPR/PRI programming is looking better and better.
Drop MSNBC and Olbermann and I'll drop the 2nd unit of my subscription... so much for listener retention, eh? XM mentions "XM has 13 different news channels, and it regularly updates its schedule to make way for new channels" but what new channels are you giving us? Zip. So same bill, less channels. Not even. At least drop Fox if you have to dump a channel.
Please do not get rid of MSNBC. There are so many music channels that seem (to me) to be overlapping and duplicative, could you not forego one of these.
it is the only way to get a fair blend of mainstream news. I may decide to cancel XM or switch to a competitor since this station is one of the only I listen to on my afterwork commute.
because I LOVE MSNBC and feel connected especially on long trips. Chris Matthews is my main man. Plus Allison, Keith, Abrams, Carlson, et. al. Will switch in a heartbeat.
I support this petition because It would be a huge disappointment if XM Radio wereto discontinue the MSNBC channel.
I urge XM to reconsider, and keep MSNBC on XMRadio.
Thank you
The news/talk programming on MSNBC offers a variety of political perspective that the other news/talk outlets lack. I am a 3 year XM subscriber. If Sirius picks up MSNBC I will switch.
I support this petition because MSNBC allows us to have a different point of viewpresented to us than what the other networks maypresent. I appreciate the variety at our disposaland encourage XM decision-makers to reconsidertheir previous decision.
I love to listen to "Hardball" and "Tucker" in teh car. And then, of course, there's the Keith Olberman program. But perhaps most valuable to me, is to have the resources of NBC News at my fingertips 24/7. MSNBC is one of the reasons I subscribed to XM in the first. I hope you will reconcider and keep MSNBC on your excellent channel lineup. I love XM in any case, but MSNBC is truely and import assest in these difficult times in which we live. Thank you for considering this request.
MSNBC allows us to have a different point of view presented to us than what the other networks may present. I appreciate the variety at our disposal and encourage XM decision-makers to reconsider their previous decision.
Please keep MSNBC on XM! I love being able to listen to Hardball when I'm in my car waiting for the kids and not at home! The reason I'm paying for these extra services is to receive ones that may not be as interesting to the general public who are not willing to pay for this! Besides, it's fun hearing the politicians get beat up on by Chris Matthews!
I watch MSNBC on TV in the morning and at night when I get home and on XM while at work. If you take it away on XM and I have to find something else (FOX/CNN) I may have to do the same at home. I sure I am one of many that does it.
MSNBC is exclusive content for XM. I have access to terrestrial radio, a Sirius subscription, and an XM Subscription. There is a lot of duplication among the three. But there are two important & exclusive programming channels that make my continued XM subscription valuable... Opie & Anthony... and XM Satellite Radio!!! Please keep it!!!
