I just bough my husband a XM Radio with a years subscription for his birthday Sept.25th 2006 only because MSNBC was on it. That same day they were updating. We had no idea they were taking Msnbc off the air. We looked at both Sirius and XM. He loves Imus In The Morning and is a MSNBC Junky. I want my money back. At least with Sirius I could get Court TV which I love.
MSNBC and airamerica are my favorites -- I even called the number to complain. I loved listening during drive time in the evening. I have 5 xm radios and I considered ditching them all because of this bonehead move!!!
I have been an XM listener for nearly five years. I have found the MSNBC programming to be far more compelling than much of which your braintrust has paid high dollars to acquire. In the near future, when I will be making the decision which service will be installed in my next vehicle. I will consider shortsighted programming decisions such as this one to be a dealbreaker.
Oh my gosh! I just moved my XM into my new car and MSNBC is gone. I can't do without Hardball! MSNBC was the station I tuned more than any other. If Sirius is / will carry - I will make the switch!
I drive a lot, and MSNBC was one of the main reasons I bought XM - I need to hear Countdown and the other news coverage when I am travelling and do not have access to a TV. I would switch to Sirius in a second but they dont carry it either.
XM advertised MSNBC I bought for that reason. I'm now paying for 6 radios and not getting what I paid for. XM can't even get it right when it comes to overbilling me. I guess it's time to get Sirius. XM will lose more than two listiners, but 6 accounts. Bring MSNBC back. Do the right thing.
I have paid for a product that I expect to receive. You somehow found a way to over bille me for two radios and still haven't refunded my bank account. XM will loose more than me as a listiner, but all six radio accounts. Better look at the big picture. I'm very Sirius. How's that sound???
MSNBC was my primary station on XM. CNN and Fox are no substitute. I need my Olbermann in the car!
At the end of the baseball season will definitely have to go to the dark side!
because MSNBC has the brilliant and quick minds of Olbermann and Matthews. Dropping this great station weakens XM. I will switch to Sirius if they capitalize on the stupidity of XM's management.
It was nice to have a news option other than the purely liberal drivel on CNN and the administration pandering "news" on Fox. With baseball season almost over, it looks like it is time to move over to Sirius. Offering your customers less for the same money is an odd business strategy.
I support this petition because I support this petition because ChrisMatthews' Hardball was the REASON I purchasedmy XM subscription. I liseten to him at work, andI will discontinue this subcription if youdon't pick up the channel again by the end ofthe year.

If you take msnbc off the air, then you might as well cancel my subscription too. I like Oberman, and he has a good format. At least he's not in somebody's pocket, like the rest of the media formats...he's a good guy. If you want to take no talent hacks off the network, take Bill Weir, Good Morning America's host, what a loser...bring back Todd Donahoe....he's great.
I am VERY disappointed about ths decision to drop MSNBC. It was one of the few things that I listened to on XM. I called today to drop the service and they gave me "3 FREE months". I will use those months and then drop the service. MSNBC has the best politioal coverage of all of the cable networks. It seems like XM wanted to silence this program.
because MSNBC is the only news station that I listen to. I have already looked into Sirius and if they decide to get MSNBC, I will be switching immediately. Why would I stay with a company that doesn't offer me what I'm looking for. Please put MSNBC back on air!!
I need my Countdown on MSNBC fix. Countdown is on in my commute time and it's the best news show out there today. I have 2 XM radios and I'm not going to renew with the time is up.
MSNBC is one of the fairest sites to get news without the right wing spin that the other stations seem to have. I will be dropping my two xm accounts that I have had for years because of this. Hello Sirius
XM doesn't seem to be forthcoming with its subscribers about this issue. I suspect that XM Radio has pulled out of its carriage agreement with MSNBC because of some arcane contractual agreement with Don Imus and CBS Radio that requires XM to bear higher costs. The other day, I was having a discussion with a colleague about my habit of switching from XM music channels back to my AM radio in the Washington, D.C. market to listen to Imus. Dialing up MSNBC to do this had never occurred to me...but I suspect it had to others. Since Imus has been trashing satellite radio on his show, I assume there must be something to this...protecting the terrestrial stations who pay for Imus in syndication. I don't care if Imus is blocked in the morning, but the rest of the MSNBC program lineup is worth keeping on XM.
Screw Olbermann.

I support this petition because MSNBC was one of my most listened to stations on XM. I expected XM to offer more stations, not take them away when they created new one like Oprah. If it was't such a pain in the ass to get new equipment I would consider switching to Sirius! I WANT MY MSNBC!
If we can't listen to Chris Matthews on XM Radio, we'll be watching for Sirrius to pick up MSNBC and switch to them! Dump FOX( NOT a news station!); Keep MSNBC! The elections are coming up...we need Hardball!
I strongly support this petition. Until two days ago, I held subscriptions to to both XM and Sirius. I cancelled Sirius and have now been a subscriber to XM since Fall 2003, primarily because of XM's focus on news programming. MSNBC was my most-listened to station and it will be sorely missed. Please remember that subscribers are built on loyalty, and that XM's decision to drop MSNBC is a detraction.
I support this petition because MSNBC is one of the best news programs on the air- I will very likely cancel my XM subscription if it does not return. Please reconsider, then bring MSNBC back. Thanks for your consideration.
