While a date for this store closing has not been set, the employees of this store confirm that store #6262 is on the "list" to be closed, despite the fact that this store has been profitable and has increased profitability from the previous year.

We are asking Howard Schultz, CEO of Starbucks, and the Starbucks Coffee Co. to reconsider the decision to close store #6262 and to closely examine the financial and community PAYOFFS of keeping this store open. We urge Howard and the Starbucks team to recognize that Store #6262 embodies the very principles that Starbucks says are important, such as:

We believe that Starbucks #6262 is EXACTLY what Howard Schultz envisioned when he founded Starbucks. If Howard and Starbucks are committed to these original ideas, then they will keep the Greenville Ave location open.
