I support this petition. My wife will die if 6262 closes as this is her only break as a stay at home mom. We personally support this Starbucks for $10 a day, $280 a month plus tips! We drive out of our way to support this place, and will not do so to any Starbucks should you close 6262.
Mr. Schultz,
Store 6262 is the exact embodiment of your "the third place" philosophy-and it's profitable! It's an incredibly unique store-I should know- having been in over 100 Starbucks! This one is special-there is a store two blocks from my house but I drive seven miles to this one!
What's it gonna take? A poem? A 'please'? A penny for a pound? A pretty little plea and then jumping up and down? Tell me, tell me, my enthusiasm abounds, my hopes are abundant and my thirst confounds, what does a girl have to do to keep her Starbucks around?
This is a wonderful neighborhood and this Starbucks fits right in. If you are trying to create a better experience than getting coffee at the gas station store, this is exactly what you should be opening not closing.
I support this petition. Mr Schultz, In your address to share holders who expressed Starbucks as having two problems;product drift (away from coffee itself) and brand drift (Starbucks has lost its value as the community 3rs space). No Starbucks store (i have been to many all over the world) in my assessment embodies community like 6262. 6262 does not represent an opportunity for your company to reduce cost, it represents an opportunity to study how to recapture what Starbucks has lost--the store as a forum and hub for a community. This store is more a part of the community than any other store in the DFW area and the staff is by far more in tune with their clients than any other. The Best Manager too!!!
I support this petition. We visit this Starbucks several times a week and always see friends and neighbors. We hate to see such a great neighborhood hangout close!
I support this petition. I've been a regular visitor to this store for about 9 years. It would be a great loss to our community. I could not count the number of times I've met clients there, held neighborhood meeting there or just stopped in for a re-charge. There is no other Starbucks location nearby with easy access. The rest are in grocery stores or have insufficient parking. Please reconsider this decision.
My family and I have been going to this location for nine years. My wife has done four kids art shows for charity there and even started a kid's art closet for parents to access art supplies while having their coffee. Being the bass player for Reverend Horton Heat I have traveled all of the world and there is no other neighborhood Starbucks like this one. This Starbucks is vital to many artists and musicians in the neighborhood to create and exchange ideas. I hope that you reconsider your decision to close this location.
I support this petition. This location is exactly what Starbucks is supposed to be. I always see someone I know and the people there know my name1 It is great!
I support this petition. This is the only Starbucks I frequent -- it's right on my drive to work, and a nice walk from the house in the evenings or on weekends, and if it is closed, you will not be getting any more of my money.
I support this petition.
I spent several years sitting outside of 6262 writing my novel. I even listed the store in my acknoweldgements. It is exactly the great "Third Place" which Schultz envisioned when he set up the chain. It is the neighborhood meeting place, bringing together people of diverse backgrounds and interests and though we've occasionally had some spirited discussions, we always got along well. Please reconsider your decision HOWARD!!

I support this petition. Starbucks #6262 is a vital part of our very unique neighborhood. I will find a "third place" other than Starbucks if you decide to close this one.
This is the BEST Starbucks in the area. As a stay-at-home mom, it is my "water cooler" almost daily! Starbucks will lose our family of four as customers if they close #6262 as we don't care for ANY of the others in our neighborhood area!
I support this petition whole-heartedly. I moved back to Dallas 2 years ago and loved this neghborhood, partly because of the location and feel of the Sratbucks vibe.
As this neighborhood continues upgrading it's homes, adding trails and staying true to it's eclectic charm, Starbucks will only improve sales, traffic and profitability.
This neighborhood Starbucks is part of my routine, and as a single person, the crew and patrons are part of my family.
Please keep 6262 alive.
I support this petition. I have been attending this starbucks from the day it opened. I have made many friends here and come every morning. Please save our neighborhood starbucks.
I think the damage to the community closing this store would bring exceeds to whatever revenue is lost by keeping it open. It is precisely what Starbucks means when it says "Third Place", for the entirety of Lower Greenville.
I support this petition. PLEASE keep this store open. It has provided MANY a morning coffee/conversation for myself and other moms that meet to have a moment of sanity. It would be a shame to lose this Greenville Ave. treasure!!
I support this petition. I believe that this Starbucks is a place for authors, musicians, and photographers, as well as all people, to go and share a common interest in what matters most- community.
This Starbucks is the MODEL the Starbucks' mission and vision - to be a place to foster community and a place to inspire the human spirit.
All of that - and much more - happens at this Starbucks.
