I support this petition. This is such a neat store because it is a neighborhood coffee shop. It is a nice change from the hustle & bustle of the other stores. This store is certainly unique versus your other stores. Don't let this gem slip away.
I support this petition. Store #6262 is the epitome of Starbuck's existance. This store is one of the few places people in the neighborhood actually meet each other and socialize. I doubt I will drop into any of the other area stores like I do #6262 on a daily basis.
I support this petition. This Starbucks is a community meeting place. It provides great stability to the neighborhood. A great bonus to the great service and workers which provide it.
This location is our neighborhood Starbucks. It seems to me that it represents your brand better than having two locations on the same corner, as we often see. Or a location within a shopping center that is not associated as closely with a neighborhood. It is everything you should want one of your stores to be and not what the brand has become.
This Starbucks location means alot to our family. We have been coming here every weekend since our son Barrett was born for coffee, vanilla milk and muffins. This is also my morning stop before work to get my day going. I ask you to reconsider and keep this location open.
This store, in particular, is everything that is right about Starbucks. Instead of closing it, you should make it a model for so many of your other stores that have a cold and impersonal feel to them.
I support this petition.
This Starbucks has been a favorite activity for my family for many years now. There are a lot of families moving into the area, and I hope they get to enjoy Starbucks the way we have. Let's save this neighborhood spot.
I support this petition. The Greenville Avenue Starbucks should not be closed. It is a very important part of our community in Dallas, TX. I go to this location 6 days a week.
Thank you!
I support this petition. This stores embodies the true spirit of Starbucks. If the company truly wants to get back to its roots and recapture the neighborhood coffeeshop feel, this store must remain open. Otherwise, it will be sorely missed by me and my neighbors.
I support this petition. Starbucks was one of my oldest daughter's first ten words. This Starbucks has fostered the most amazing sense of community. My two daughters had their first art show here and over 50 people showed up to support them. Please don't close this Starbucks.
In the midst of global turmoil I was relieved to hear about these Dallas heros, who decided enough is enough. Never mind Darfur, Iraque or Afganistan. We need our coffee! Stop the great injustice!
I support this petition. I meet clients on numerous occasions at five different Starbuck's locations. #6262 is far and away the store with the friendliest and most helpful staff, and the warmest atmosphere. This store is always busier than two others that I frequent that are NOT scheduled to close. That just doesn't seem to make good business sense.
I support this petition. This is one of the few Starbucks stores with a location and layout that fosters community.
Some stores all you can do ( or would want to do) is get your coffee and go - not this store. It's a comfortable place with a relaxed atmosphere to relax, work or socialize - and worth saving.
I support this petition.
Here's an idea. Fly down here, and pop in on this store. Get a sense of what you have here. Then close it, if you still feel like you can. You can grab a coffee at McDonalds on the way back out of town.
I support this petition. I came here every morning when I was small and my mommy was supposed to be on bed rest with my little brother. We both had to get out of the house for a bit and all the baristas and locals took care of us. All my mom could do was sit so the people at Starbuck's brought drinks and crayons to our table so we could have a nice morning together. Anyone who doesn't support this petition has clearly not indulged in the profound sense of community and friendship at the Lower Greenville Starbuck's. Anyone should be able to read the 225 signatures of support before their signature to see what this Starbuck's has meant to the people of this neighborhood. Especially the children of this community, whom have had charity events and art shows for other children less fortunate than themselves, and think to have a little compassion for others who are feeling sad over the potential loss of a place that is near and dear to their hearts.
I support this petition because I LOVE this store and I equal it to the local pubs in Europe or the neighborhood deli's in New York. Please don't destroy what has been making Starbucks successful!
I hope you saw me on TV holding my "Save Our Starbucks" sign. It's very important to me to have a place nearby where I can shovel high-calorie, over-priced coffee products into my fat face. Also, note that I took the trouble to stand on Greenville and wave a sign to save this Starbucks, but I can't be troubled to do the same against the futile war in Iraq that has cost hundreds of thousands of lives and billions of dollars.

This IS what Howard envisioned. I walk into so many Starbucks that are devoid of a true soul and yet OUR Starbucks has a life, soul and personality all its own. I go three or four times a week and my wife and I have been walking there every Saturday morning for seven years. Howard started this company based on a "feeling". To close this store based on numbers is a travesty. Especially when the numbers are good. Shut down the one in Highland Park. It has no soul. Like its patrons.
I support this petition. I have served as Lakewood Hts Neighborhood Assoc. President for 4 years. Our Lower Greenville Starbucks is a significant fixture in our part of Dallas. It's roles in the social fabric and business community network are what made Starbucks as successful as it has been all these years - and what will sustain Starbucks for years to come. It seems to close such a community anchor could only harm the reputation of Starbucks with its otherwise stronghold of adamant supporters. It makes the greatest business and cultural sense to maintain this location and actually boost its community role! As a member of neighborhood leaders, we look forward to working with Starbucks to partner in ways to keep our Starbucks locations in Lower Greenville and Lakewood!!
