I support this petition. It is so nice
to see young people, mothers with
babies, older people, neighborhood
people have a meeting place. This
Starbucks serves a need in our community. Please do not close it.
I support this petition. This is not a one community Starbucks but where 3 neighboring communities converge to unite as one larger group. Truly this store embodies the Starbucks - Be A Neighbor - Philosophy. I would challenge you to create this sense of community with in-store grocery concepts. Though I visit these, this is certainly NOT where I go to be a neighbor. Rest assured, though many of us are loyal fans of Starbucks - this loyality will be tested when you have no presence and there comes another offering in the neighborhood. Marketing can NOT buy this level of loyalty which is support of our neighborhood vendors. Good luck, Howard.
I support this petition. Unlike with other locations that are closing, there is not a good alternate for people in this neighborhood looking for an easily accessible stop on the way to work in the morning.
The regulars at the Atlanta-Vinings Starbucks have produced a good video and posted it to YouTube to protest the closing of their Starbucks. With the considerable talent among the regulars of the Lower Greenville-Dallas (Store 6262) and our passionate defense of it, we ought to be doing the same!
At YouTube, look for "Don't Close Vinings Starbucks" (9 minutes, 28 seconds. (sorry, I'd provide the URL, but Petition Site does not permit links.)

Then them be genuine and involved in their community, and their neighborhood values them and has created a great relationship over the past 6 year.
Okay, here's the deal, I need this particular Starbucks to remain open. First, it is a great part of our little close-knit neighborhood/community. Neighbors, family and friends go there on a regular basis to conduct business and/or life. Dallas is known by outsiders to be superficial and cold. Starbucks store #6262 shows people the exact opposite -- a warm, friendly retail environment - PLUS a hot steaming cup of joe (or frozen cup of joe, if you're so inclined). How often do you get to say "warm, friendly retail environment" in your lifetime??? Second, my wife NEEDS this Starbucks to remain open. And the old saying is true...if mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. WAKE UP CORPORATE AMERICA!!! Keep store #6262 open!
This Starbucks is the easiest one to get into, pack and get out of with a to go order. Knox, Mockingbird/Abrams, Mockingbird Station, McKinny/Cole, Greenville/Oldtown and Greenville/Caruth Haven are all parking and traffic nightmares.
I support this petition. Please re-consider closing the Islandia, NY Starbucks. It's been in operation for 13 years. It's our neighborhood coffee house. We NEED it.
I support this petition. The Lower Greenville Starbucks supports our community and neighborhood. It brings all walks of life together in conversation and mission. Please keep it alive!
I support this petition. Don't close my 'work" Starbucks on Wethersfield Ave, Hartford, CT. The people are really nice and make a great chai. Besides, I am not all that happy with work and getting a chai every morning helps me through the day (and sometimes the afternoon!)
I support this petition. My wife and I move from Chicago to Dallas last year and didn't know anyone. Through our daily vists to Starbucks and the friendly staff, we have met new friends and truely few a part of this community. All thanks to Starbucks!!!!
I support this petition. This Starbucks was pivotal in my getting back on my feet after a divorce. I have met many interesting, intelligent, and sophisticated patrons--they are Dallas's art community. I have been a regular, daily client, and hope to be again soon, as I have recently gotten married, so I should have more time to go. This is the epitome of the small business owner "water cooler" for many of us. It would be tragic to lose such a vibrant community fixture!
I support this petition because there are Trixies in Greenville, Too. And as the Lincoln Park Trixie Society says, there cannot be true happiness without Coffee. Especially double-cupped no foam skim lattes. Please don't close our Starbucks.
I support this petition. I'm not sure of the criteria determining which locations will close, but it seems there are several located in locations far from commutes and dense populations that are better-suited for closing.
I support this petition. Please don't close our Starbucks! Our Greenville Starbucks is a wonderful community gathering place. When I first heard of the closure, I could not believe it. This store represents everything Starbucks says that it is about - not a place to grab a quick cup of coffee from a someone you don't know, but a place you feel at home and know the regulars. I agree with the other writer that said that this store should be a model for all Starbucks. I have lived in the neighborhood 20 years and have been coming to this store since it opened.
I support this petition.
This is a great location that is in a neighboorhood, it is not is a shopping strip and that is nice.
It is always busy. The other Starbucks in the area are busy also, if you close this this one the other not as appealing will be over crowded. This is an area that has many early morning athletes who get coffee after exercise. Please don't close this store it is the best one in the area and it also has an outside area.
