I'm a lifelong Newton Centre resident. Every year the number of businesses I frequent here dwindles and more banks open. Please keep one of the few remaining meeting places in the Centre open. Thank you.
I support this petition. This has been one of my offcies fro many years and I often meet and do my work there -- The cookie cutter store on Beacon St is boring and univinviting meeting spot
I support this petition. This is a great Starbucks with wonderful staff and a great place to meet people. The "bean counters" were counting the wrong beans when adding this store to the list!
Close the one across the street that has hardly any room to sit.
The loss of this Starbucks would be a loss to the character of Newton Center and Union Street.
I support this petition.
and save my starbucks in Somerset Kentucky! the only place i can go to relax with people who can speak English and actualy have a conversation! i live in hell!
I support this petition. This is one of the most terrific coffee places anywhere...how could Starbucks possibly opt for closig this wonderful, unique, excellently staffed store instead of the nearby small, generic, impossible to park near or reach Starbucks 2 blocks away. In addition to all the great reasons to keep the Union Street/Newton Center store...this spot gets so many additional customerss (me included) who run in to grab coffee and snack when they are waiting for the train. For years, an old train sign lights up and gives customers a 2 minute notice when the train to Boston will arrive. You can't imagain the number of purchases commuters make...which they never would...when they know they have time to get coffee AND catch the train.
DON'T CLOSE IT!!!
I support this petition.Newton Center Starbucks is one of the most unique stores you have.It is welcoming and spacious and a place to meet friends. It's what Starbucks is suppose to be about , right? Leve it alone !!!
Please, don't close that location -- it's such a unique space with so much character. It's so much nicer than the nearby on Center St, and it has been there longer. Please reconsider!
