The intent of our petition is to save the pools at Rocky Canyon 12 miles north of Crouch, Idaho.

The USFS is scheduled to dismantle and destroy all pools at the Rocky Canyon hot springs very soon.

Show your support to save the pools at Rocky Canyon host springs by signing the petition below.

We the undersigned do not agree with the action of the USFS to dismantle and destroy the pools at Rocky Canyon. We would like to see the pools remain as they are open for all to access and use.

I support this petition. It would be a crying shame to destroy these beautiful pools. What we need in our government, that seems to be sorely lacking these days, is compassion. There is a time for rules and a time for non bureaucratic thinking...this is a time when someone needs to think outside their bureaucratic box. I challenge any of the bureaucrats that the balance of this decision rests with, to actually use the pools! Yes, use the pools, before you make a decision! My wife and I traveled to your beautiful state from Seattle and spent a week in and around the Boise forest, and the main reason we were there was for the hot springs!! We spent tourist dollars because we wanted to visit the various hot springs!. The forest service is misguided and short sighted if they destroy this awesome engineering marvel...and yes it is a marvel. Thanks!

This is my second vote. I hate to say that... It is with great sadness to say the the pools were destroyed today. What is even sadder is that the USFS representatives (John Erickson, Dave Olson, Frank Guzman, and Cecilia Seesholtz) could not muster the strength and leadership to work towards a win-win here. It is with a sense of disappointment that Ted Howard from the tribes would not even show the respect to return my call to discuss ideas. The division between government and the public has widened today and for that, I am sad. My Thanks to all of you who showed that they care and appreciated the gift that was the pools at Rocky Canyon. MY SPECIAL THANKS GOES TO CARY SMITH who\'s energy and effort went towards creating so many hours of enjoyment and relaxation for all of us.
